| About the Test on Great Britain and Russia: It's of the essay variety, but different from what you've done. Specifically, it'll have: 1) a short-answer part, where you do exactly that, 2) a conceptual analysis part, where you take a certain definition and apply the concept to the governmental systems we've looked at,. 3) a country context part, where you take another definition and apply that to the countries we've studied so far. The best way to study for it is to: 1) do what you've always done in terms of studying, and especially have a good command of every key term, definition, and whatnot we've done--and know how they apply to both countries. 2) Don't worry so much about an outline this time. KNOW WHAT EACH QUESTION IS ASKING, AND ANSWER IT! Any outline time you spend should be on figuring out the answer to each question. |
