Enemy Codes
The following codes will allow you to select enemies to fight. As long as the code you enter is turned on, you will fight the enemy (or enemies) indicated by the code. Each code works in every area of the game where you would normally fight an enemy.

These codes will provide the same effect as if you were normally fighting a battle in that area with that enemy. You can even win the chips that that enemy would normally drop, too!

Here are some notes relating to the following codes:

• The same code may appear twice in two different enemy sets. If you have already entered that code for a different enemy set, you don't have to enter it again. Just enable the enemy set activator that goes with the code you want to use.

• You must ALWAYS turn on the activator code that codes with the enemy code you're using. If either one of the two codes are turned off, the game will freeze!

• All of these codes require the new enable code to work correctly, since they technically only work in battle. If you don't have the new code, you can get it here.

• DO NOT HAVE MULTIPLE CODES ON AT THE SAME TIME! Only use one enemy code at a time. Don't have multiple activator codes on at the same time, either!

• Only use a code if you think you will be able to defeat the enemy. (For example, if you've just started the game, it's not a good idea to fight BassDelux right away!)

• If a certain enemy requires a special battle arena (i.e. Shadow Man's arena is all grass), that arena will always be used with that enemy, no matter where you are in the game.

• As long as the codes are activated, you will ALWAYS fight the enemy you selected each time a battle begins. To stop this from happening, just turn the codes off.

• Make sure you turn these codes off before you NetBattle somebody, or the game might freeze!

How To Use These Codes
To start, pick a code that you want to use. For an example, we'll choose the "Fight BassDelux" code. After you select a code, you need to find the activator code DIRECTLY ABOVE the code you picked (it's in black, if you can't find it). For BassDelux, the activator code would be for "Very Hard Difficulty Battles". When you enter the code to fight BassDelux, you can combine the activator code for "Very Hard Difficulty Battles" with the code to fight BassDelux, or you can add them as two separate codes. Either way you do it, both codes must be activated or the game will freeze.

Turning On / Off The Codes
You can use the switch at the top of the GameShark device to turn the codes on or off. Since these codes allow you to fight the selected enemy as long as you want (throwing out the need for LocEnemy), you may want to turn off the code after a time. Just slide the switch to OFF when you don't want to use the codes, and you'll fight enemies as you normally would. To start fighting the enemy you chose again, just slide the switch to ON again.

Enemy Codes vs. Chip Codes
Although the chip codes can give you the chip you want instantly, the major drawback is that the chip won't be added to your library. One advantage of these enemy codes is that you can always fight the enemy YOU want to fight, and if you know what chips you need, chances are that one of these enemy codes can help you to get those chips. Since you can fight an enemy of your choice as long as you want, you're more likely to receive the chips you want or need. Plus, they even get added to your library - which the chip codes don't do!

2 With this code, the Puffball's side of the arena will be all grass.

3 With this code, the layout of the battle arena is changed slightly.

4 Although these are repeats of earlier enemies, some of these codes offer different arena layouts.
