Ambassador's Dispatch
Volume 2, issue 3
March 4, 2002

I finally started doing some renovations around this dusty site. Sure, it still doesn't have much in the way of flash, but at least I've started to do something with the
comics reviews section again. I'm expecting a full month's worth of comics this week, so I anticipate having more up by week's end.

Speaking of reviews, I've posted some comments on
Six Feet Under since the second season debuted tonight on HBO. If you're interested, take a look.

I've also updated the links to the websites of current Legends members, both on the
Legends page and in the Links.

      Are you a fan of
Buffy, The Vampire Slayer? If so, take a moment for a single-question poll on the Villains of Buffy. How long I keep this one up will depend upon the number of responses.

We all have our times when we have to get a little political rant out of our systems, so
here's one from the back of my February zine.

I'll be back soon. As ever, feel free to leave something on the messageboard or in my mailbox - just click on the appropriate links at the bottom of this page.

Finally, since it's only been a few days since the last dispatch I want to give one new and rerun two recommendations before moving on:

One of Legends' members for the past few years is the highly talented
Anders Eriksen, who's finally started to get some of his work up online. Click on his name and give it a look!

Someone who's been terribly busy with his site in recent months, uploading a vast array of his work, is
Darren Madigan. Want to read some original novels? Short stories? Cartoons? Essays on comics and other pop culture? Defense from craven attacks from the fleas who live on Warren Ellis? Whether you just have a few minutes or hours upon hours, this could fill the bill. Swing by and take a look at Doc Nebula's Phantasmagorical Fan Page. ... and don't forget to drop him a line to let him know you were there!

As the March 20th appearance of their first issue approaches, I also direct you to the
Two Irish Guys Press launch site for Paradigm.  Creators Matt Cashel and Jeremy Haun are proud of their creation, and justifiably so. The orders on the first issue were encouraging, and they're committed to sticking to their bimonthly schedule for a long time to come.
