      Legends is
an international Amateur Press Alliance centering
on comics, with a founding emphasis on DC's line - though comics of all stripes
and publishers are up for discussion.
      Begun
in 1986, Legends recruited me near the end of 1989,
and save for taking a break from all things comics in '98 I've been with
the group.I'm enjoying producing a zine for it now more than ever.

(This picture is from a few years ago, during one of the get-togethers of
the members who made it to Chicago for the summer comics convention. I'm
the fourth in the back row, btw. Yeah, yeah, I know the resolution's poor.
Next time, hopefully, it'll be a digital shot.)
        Published
bi-monthly, this December's issue will be our 103rd!
We're looking for new people who'd like to write a zine about the comics they're enjoying, the characters they love, and pretty much whatever else they want to throw in. Some members like to include drawings, some write fan fiction... the field's open. If you have opinions to offer, maybe stories to tell, comics to suggest (or even warn against), would like to see one or more of the same from others..., and would like to have it down on paper... come join
us!
        If this sounds
interesting to you just
email me and I'll be happy
to answer any questions and show you how easy it is to get inside! Become part of the fun and the history!
