Andrew
A commercial copywriter experienced in print, video, and multimedia, Andrew is a very clever young man. He started winning every writing and poetry competition in Australia and New Zealand from the age of 11, and has never looked back. He's especially in touch with internet technology, and with the language and attitudes of youth. He is now 21.
Justin
A commercial copywriter and public relations writer. Justin has more than a decade of practical experience in working with designers to conceive and write compelling commercial copy.
Katy
A journalist. Fully qualified from three years' tertiary studies in journalism and communications media, Katy became editor of a city newspaper before she was 20. She now contributes to quality magazines like NZ's Listener, and also writes punchy journalism for Writers Workshop client newsletters, magazines, and media releases.
Liz
A business writer. Liz has a wealth of hands-on experience creating well-crafted business documentation, including reports, proposals, and business plans.
Loren
Owner of the Writers Workshop. Loren's lifetime of experience includes writing for print media, film, radio, television, and the internet. He has been a journalist, copywriter, screenwriter, and television director and producer.
Julie
Julie finally gave up a teaching career to do what she always wanted ... buy herself a computer and do illustration and graphic design. She's very good.
Lisz
Lisz is an illustrator who specialises in finely rendered pen and ink line drawings, especially of architectural, city or landscape subjects.
Serena
Serena is a young cartoonist and illustrator with a special talent for creating characters that have appeal for many different markets, from children to adults . . . and from the conventional to gothic or post-punk.
Tania
Tania is a skilled graphics designer with particular expertise in rendering corporate documents, or developing unique logos and graphical motifs.
Bruce
Television engineer and web designer, Bruce brings a lifetime of experience in the technology of visual media to his work designing and rendering websites.
Josh
Still only 18, Josh is a computer science undergraduate with a wide range of practised skills in programming, including coding for the internet.
Michael
Web designer and photographer. Michael is one of New Zealand's leading photographers but his new love and talent is in internet and electronic design. For the Writers Workshop, he codes some of the most successful websites and banner promotions in the country.
