| �Kerri, what are you doing?� Eaglemon asked. �I�m taking some apples for the climb.� Kerri replied, reaching up and taking another of the small fruits from the tree. �Good idea, Kez.� Tim commented, taking some apples of his own. �Our Digimon can�t fight if they�re hungry.� |
| �Can I get a rewind!� Davimon exclaimed, looking down from the side of his mountain. �DemiDevidramon, fill me in! Why are those brats still alive?� �I�I don�t know, sir, they�� �What�s that?� Davimon said, looking closer. �Did they get their Digivices back, DemiDevidramon?� �No!� DemiDevidramon said. �It�s impossible!� �DemiDevidramon, go down there and get my Digivices back!� Davimon shouted. �Yes Sir!� DemiDevidramon announced, flying off. |
| �I�m tired. Can we rest?� Tridemon asked. �We just started climbing the damn mountain!� Sam exclaimed, looking back at the forest behind them. �Why do you always have to nit-pick?� Tridemon shot back. The group were moving around the mountain, on a spiral path to the top. The road wasn�t perfectly flat, and was full of potholes and ledges, as well as other obstacles for the to overcome. Some of the group weren�t too thrilled about climbing a mountain, but Tim and Shocamon loved it. The two of them were leading the group up the rocky road. �This is fun!� Shocamon exclaimed. �Tridemon, don�t be so lazy!� �Well, excuse me for not climbing many mountains!� Tridemon shouted. �Do you think we should be doing this, guys?� Khalid asked the group. �Yeah, why?� Tim answered. �Well, shouldn�t we find our Digivices first?� Khalid argued. �If Davimon handed them out, we might find some on the mountain.� Adrian reasoned. �Yeah, but what if we don�t find all of them?� Khalid said. �Then we�ll look for them!� Eaglemon offered. �Oh my god!� Khalid screamed. �Do you know how long that�ll take?� �Don�t worry, Khalid!� Darren said. �We�ll find them all.� �Oh no you won�t!� A voice called. The group looked ahead and saw DemiDevidramon hovering before them! Behind him were five ghost-like Digimon with big teeth. �You�re going to give back the Digivices right now! My master demands it!� �DemiDevidramon!� Audrey shouted. �You asshole! You stole our Digivices!� �Who are they?� Shocamon asked, making nodding motions to the ghost Digimon. �They are Bakemon!� DemiDevidramon informed. �Ghost Digimon that will steal the Digivices from you all! Now; attack, Bakemon!� With this command, the Bakemon floated slowly towards the Digidestined. �This is�kinda scary�� Kerri declared, cowering behind Eaglemon. �Don�t worry, Kerri, I�ll protect you!� Eaglemon said, glowing white. �Eaglemon digivolve to�Abdulmon!� �Moosemon Digivolve to�Wumon!� �Tridemon Digivolve to�Novadramon!� The three Digimon stood guard in front of the group. Salamon looked up at Andrea. �Should I help?� Salamon asked. �No.� Andrea replied simply. �You should save your strength.� Wumon charged at the Bakemon, head butting one of them back. One of the other four attacked the moose Digimon, but Novadramon punched it away. �You mind being more careful in future, Wumon?� Novadramon shouted. Suddenly, two Bakemon jumped on him from behind. Abdulmon grabbed the Bakemon in both of his talons and threw them towards the group. �You shouldn�t be so hypocritical, Novadramon�� Abdulmon noted. The rest of the Digimon in the group attacked the two that had landed nearby. �Buzz Shocker!� Shocamon announced, shooting electricity at the pair. �Virus Fist!� Slipmon punched a ball of dark energy. �Puppy Howling!� Salamon announced, making her usual howling motion and launching her attack. �Snake Constriction!� Slythamon shouted, shooting strings from her teeth. �Semblance Bomb!� Onomon declared, firing a ball of white energy at the Bakemon. The five attacks hit the duo, and they disappeared into atoms. Tim investigated the area and found a Digivice, obviously given to one of the fallen Digimon. He pressed a few buttons and found that it belonged to Audrey. �Drey, catch!� Tim shouted, throwing the Digivice to Audrey. She caught it, and Slythamon immediately turned white. �Slythamon Digivolve to�Serpemon!� The bigger snake cried. It turned to the battle with the Bakemon. �Zombie Claw!� One of the Bakemon shouted, reaching out to Abdulmon with a dark claw. �Oh no you don�t!� Novadramon interrupted, grabbing the Bakemon and throwing him into one of the others, knocking both back. Abdulmon turned to Novadramon. �I believe that makes us even.� Abdulmon noted. �Let�s not keep track of that!� Novadramon suggested. The two Bakemon were about to get up when Wumon head butted the third one into them. �Time to finish this!� Wumon declared. �Antler Shot!� The elk bent down and fired his antlers like missiles. �Flame Bubble!� Novadramon gathered energy and released it as a fireball. �Mega Wing!� Abdulmon said, creating a red ball of energy and firing it at the Bakemon. �Snake Pulse!� Serpemon announced, creating a shockwave that flew towards the foes. The four attacks hit the Bakemon and they disappeared. The entire group turned to DemiDevidramon. �Err� Erm�� The small dragon uttered nervously. �Look! There�s a Digivice!� The group all turned to where the Bakemon once stood and, surely enough, one of their Digivices lay on the floor. They then looked back up at DemiDevidramon. He had escaped without a trace. �Dammit!� Kerri exclaimed. Abdulmon approached her. �Never fear, Kerri.� The bird spoke. �We shall destroy him eventually.� �Whose Digivice is that?� Khalid asked, running over to the device. He tapped in some commands and read the screen. �Adrian, it�s yours!� Adrian caught the device when Khalid threw it to him. �Safe.� �But, where�s mine?� Tim asked. �I dunno�� Andrea spoke, looking around. �I can�t see it anywhere.� �You guys must have destroyed it!� Tim exclaimed, turning to Wumon. �Stupid moose!� he shouted. Wumon simply screwed up his face in bewilderment as a reply. �Hey, don�t blame the moose!� Darren shouted. �Darren�s right hun;� Audrey chipped in. �Maybe they didn�t have your Digivice.� �Yeah, we�ll probably find it later on.� Kerri offered. This seemed to quiet Tim and he approached the four Digivolved Digimon. �I think we can climb the mountain much faster if we ride on our Digimon.� Tim observed. �Why do we have to do all the work?� Wumon asked, as Darren mounted his back. �Because you�re stronger!� Darren answered him. �Yeah, and I�m tired!� Audrey announced, climbing onto Serpemon�s tail. Khalid and Slipmon climbed on behind her. �I believe it will be best if we carry them there.� Abdulmon said. �It is a short journey, and the other four Digimon need to save their strength for the inevitable battle with Davimon.� �But Shocamon can�t Digivolve anyway!� Tim argued, as he and his Digimon partner approached Novadramon. �All the more reason for him to save his energy.� Abdulmon shot back, allowing Kerri, Andrea and Salamon to clamber onto his back. Adrian and Onomon approached Wumon and jumped onto the elk behind Darren as Novadramon lifted Tim, Sam and Shocamon onto his shoulders. �Hold tight, guys!� Novadramon suggested as he headed up the mountain. Wumon, Serpemon and Abdulmon were not far behind them. |
