Government approved sole representative body of Hosiery & Knitwear Industry.
Presently, I am working as Secretary with Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (Sialkot Region) which is the premier Government approved sole representative trade organization representing the hosiery and knitwear industry in Pakistan.
This position is fully authorized to manage the office administration independently, which provides the quota services to the more than 400 members in Sialkot Region.
This post is responsible to issue notices and agenda for the meetings for the committee and the general body, to carryout the decisions of the general body and zonal committee. To write the minutes of the meetings are also included in my duties.
I am also responsible to keep the office record properly and carry on correspondence on behalf of the association. I also prepare the annual reports and accounts of the regional office as well as the budget for the coming years.
I am authorized to sign all documents, bills, letters and cheques. Cheques are being signed jointly with Chairman or Voice Chairman of the association.
I prepared the annual report (2003-2004) of the Association including summaries of all meetings, seminars, workshops, press statements, achievement of the association and glimpse of the events.

An Apex Trade Organization of SAARC
I was working as Admin-cum-Public Relations Officer with SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is the only recognized trade organization of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
My duties were to arrange, coordinate and implement SCCI economic and trade focused programs with its member federations. All programs were designed to achieve core objective of regional economic cooperation. I was responsible to make all events arrangements, which includes venue, traveling & accommodation of local and international delegates, to document and organize events’ reports for printing.
That position was also responsible for office administration & documentation for reimbursement of bills from German donor agency (FNSt.) for various events as well as for SCCI publications, general correspondence with all member bodies of SAARC.
I was also responsible to deal with Foreign Missions, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Passport & Immigration Office regarding SAARC Visa Exemption Sticker.
I worked with Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Islamabad on behalf of SCCI for organizing the Business Convention, which was inaugurated by Honorable President of Pakistan on 24 April 2002 at Convention Center, Islamabad.
Besides above job responsibilities also possessed excellent working knowledge of latest software including data management and E-Commerce.

· January 2, 2004 symposium on “Regional Cooperation in SAARC” on the occasion of 12th SAARC Summit in Islamabad. Foreign Ministers of member states of SAARC presented in the symposium.
· November 15, 2003, organized a lecture on “Market and Product development of Hosiery/ Garments Industry” by Ms. Huma Fakhar, Pakistan official representative to Doha Ministerial Conference, Geneva.
· July 29, 2003 Lecture by Mr. Munir Akram, Pakistan Ambassador to UN (Former Ambassador to WTO – Geneva) on “WTO Negotiations: Policy options for developing Countries”
· June 23, 2003 Seminar on “WTO Negotiations: Business Implications” organized by SCCI in-cooperation of NUST Consulting, PNAC and Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
