| I believe this technolgy was brought to the user level because people wanted to copy DVDs...for good or bad reasons. The byproduct is that you can take your old home movies, grab them as an mpeg or avi and then put them on a cd for all to enjoy...and for archival purposes. That is exactly my plan...but I had to do a lot of experimenting to get there. However right now I can do just that. In addition, there are a lot of funny or interesting videos on the internet that people who don't want to look at a small screen, can watch. |
