| On aturday 26 April 2003 i attended a Rolling Road shootout which was organised at Alwynj Kershaws by my friend in York. It was actually a Volkswagon day but i said i would attend just to have a bit of crack with my mate, with maybe the oppotunity of putting my car on at the end. well, that was the plan! my other mate with a modified Suzuki Swift GTi wanted to come so it turned into a VW v Japan kind of event! there were various VDub's and Audi's going onthe rollers and although we couldnt contend with the mighty S2 audi or VR6 golfs and corrado's we certianly raised some eyebrow's my mates swift put in 141 BHP, which is very impressive form a 1.3 16v engine! its a screamer! i displayed 168 BHP, which i was more than happy with. its 10 BHp over standard setup. |
