TYPES OF E-COMMERCE SITES
Business-to-Business means that the FOCUS lies on the relationship between two or more companies. The dynamics of the business to business process is different from the consumer market in that the business buyers purchase due to a specific need as opposed to the "enjoyment of spending" by a consumer. Business buyers, unlike consumers, do not purchase products or services on impulse. The business buyer/specifier will purchase/recommend products or services only after careful inspection of that product or service.
Business-to-Corporate-Consumer means that the FOCUS lies on the relationship between the manufacturers of products and services and high-earning corporate consumers. The behavioural pattern of the business-to-corporate-consumer process differs from the business-to-consumer market in that the corporate buyers have the financial depth to purchase on impulse or upon careful consideration, prestigious products or services.
Consumer to business refers to all the sites created by consumers on the internet who want to sell anything they have no use for. By using these sites these idividuals can market these goods so that large businesses can buy them. This is usually used for large goods such as cars, boats and furniture.
