Obviously, the first thing from which the Maltese Economy will benefit, is the fact that the companies would be selling more of their products as the market would extend to a worldwide one. Hence, the economy will improve if a considerable amount of customers use the service to buy the products. In addition, businessmen, especially those who have loads of money to spend, may decide to pay a visit at the island to see the quality of the product and analyze it they before actually buying it. On the other hand, keeping the same point, turism may decline, thus affecting negatively the economy as the tourists would prefer to buy the product they need by clicking on the web at their own home, but this is obviously a personal choice. In addition, in my opinion, I think that the companies themselves will benefit from such a service as they would in fact be advertising their own products all over the world with a small amount of money.
