Greetings
from the East:
First,
Let me convey my thanks for the honor of being your Master in
2009.
A big
thanks goes out to Brother Ken Meredith for the great job he did
on the installation of officers.
This is
going to be an exciting year at Valley. Renovations are
being completed on our upstairs lodge room. To those
brothers who have not been to lodge lately, come visit at least
once this year to see all the changes. A lodge cannot
function on a few members. Your attendance is greatly
desired.
It is my
goal to fill all the chairs during at least one (1) meeting this
year. To obtain this, there will be several lodge activities
to help bring brothers and families together; such as: a
family breakfast, homecoming, et cetera, along with lots of
degree work. See your schedule for dates and times.
Come out and support your lodge at work and share brotherly love.
The fish
fry has helped the lodge purchase large items for the
dinning hall: Dish T.V., a freezer, et cetera, and
has brought us several new members. If you have not tried
the fish or have not been to the fish fry in a while, we encourage
you to join us for a Friday night of friendship, television and
food.
Valley
Lodge #511 has a full line of officers and has great years ahead
of it, but is needs your physical presence to help make it
work. Make it your goal to attend a meeting or event this
year. Your support helps the lodge to function and assure
it's future success.
