Ambushed, Chapter 1
Location: Kaiba Mansion grounds. Time: fifteen after one. Target in site. A young boy with unruly ebony hair lay in wait, dressed in black pants, a black shirt, a black face mask, and walkie talkie in one hand. A look of fierce concentration fixed his mouth in a determined frown. He shifted slightly in his place behind a bush in the gardens, eyeing his brother napping on a lawn chair by the pool.
It had taken ages for him to persuade his brother to rest using the ever useful puppy dog eyes. The elder Kaiba had sighed, turned off his laptop, and left the office-turned bedroom. And now, it was time for Operation: Dump Seto In The Pool.
Abandoning his walkie talkie Mokuba rolled up his sleeves and crept out of his hiding place, tiptoeing to his target. Seto did not stir, as he was deep in slumber, but Mokuba would make his brother lighten up by any means necessary. Eying the distance between the water and the chair, he determined that it would take one emphatic push, and Seto would end up in the intended destination.
Stepping behind the chair he readied both hands on the chair rest and pushed, once, twice. The chair tipped precariously over the edge, dumping a very much awake Seto Kaiba off the chair and into the water.
Spluttering, Seto glared with narrowed eyes at the hysterically laughing Mokuba, keeping afloat in the water. Not minding that his casual slacks were no doubt soaked he snagged the unaware boys ankles and dragged him in, smirking.
Niisama! It-Its c-cold!
Course it is, idiot, its almost winter, he said, drawing Mokubas head under water. The boy struggled, and struggled, but the even the image of his brother acting his own age and smirking at him could not suppress his desire for air. Kicking his brothers shin he gratefully surfaced and heaved in great gasps of air.
Thats not funny, he ground out, swimming a respectable distance away from his plotting companion.
Two can play at your game Mokuba, he said, smiling genuinely at his soaked brother. Now that you have successfully ruined this suit, you must pay the price.
Whats that? He began swimming towards the ledge, whereby he could escape his brother.
Tickling of course, he said, as if it were obvious and took off after Mokuba, who was by now had struggled onto land and was running as hard as he could. But he was no match, and fell prey to wandering fingers in his sides and ribs.
Me-mercy! Mercy! he shrieked, writhing horribly. Unfortunately, his brother knew all his ticklish spots, and kept on attacking.
Are you sure? Seto ceased his attack, holding his brother closely against his chest. A gigantic grin quirked his lips, making his eyes dance with pleasure.
Yes. Mokuba turned so he could be face to face with the normally stoic CEO of KaibaCorp and grinned. Its good to see you happy, even if I did ruin that suit.
There is more where they come from, dont worry about it. Seto hugged his brother closer. You planned this didnt you? I knew something was up.
Yup.
Lets go inside and change, and then play a videogame, then order pizza. Work can wait a few hours.
Mokubas eyes grew huge as saucers. You mean it!? Thank you, big brother, thank you!
Seto chuckled, releasing his brother. Really, I mean it. Now go, he said, swatting Mokuba lightly on the back. Choose whatever game you want.
Yes, niisama! Offering one last childish grin at the his teen brother, Mokuba raced off, leaving a soaking, but content big brother behind.
Thanks, Mokuba, he murmured.
