Sherwood Forest Foundry (copyright '05), specializes in producing custom LIMITED EDITION historic bronze jewelry. We are proud to produce the oldest British knighthood chain, Order of the Garter. It is our replica of the only knighthood chain that still exhists today for your noble's reinactment/costume needs. We have Elizabethian Armada Medals (3 versions), a Shakespeare and a Queen Victoria commemorative medals, many historic fine brooches & jewelry items, Napoleonic & Victorian Regimental uniform buttons, beautiful bronze chess sets, and gorgeous natural gift art sculptures. This is our foundry's photo ad showing our TWO premier chains of noble rank. Order of the Garter and the Tudor & Elizabethian noble office S chain. The Garter chain is of a knighthood and the S chain was given to those noble's who held a royal office by their sovereign's appointment.
We produce these 3 bronze versions of the Elizabethian Armada Medals. These are historic replicas of the medals that Queen Elizabeth I gave out to her navy's captains after they defeated the Spanish in 1588. The bronze medal backs are decorated as well! A great gift for the history buff or a neccessary costume piece for that Renaissance Faire guest. GOD SAVE HER MAJESTY!
