During a preliminary court hearing, the judge slapped an unexpected criminal penalty on the husband: Cruelty to Animals. Both the husband and wife were upset at this ruling.
The husband was upset because, as he said, "But, the horse enjoyed it! Why is this cruelty?"
And the wife was upset because the judge never
considered a "cruelty to wife" crime for the
shock and cheating. "The stupid
horse has more laws protecting it than
a human women! What is the country coming to!
At this rate the horse will get ownership of
the house during the split."
