The pumps worked like a dream, and pack a ton of useful features such as the intake tube float which allows the pump to pull water from free flowing areas by preventing the intake line from settling in silt at the bottom of a stream. A sedement filter comes standard and is used to prevent unwanted gunk from entering the pump's filter cavity. No sick days came afterward, proving first-hand that the pumps truely protect against Giardia and Cryptosperidium among others.
