No games work, and cannot change setting on the machine. Controller works in menu mode but cannot select / start / control game or get into World
PS3, Play Station, PlayStation 3. BUY BATTERIES ~ RE-CHARGEABLE ONE(S)!
When our tech got his playstation3 (PS3) home, the extra pack with all the; remote control;wireless controller (battery operated);pal; HDMI lead; wireless connections; battery operated; connected it all up and got it working.
Later on, a few days later, the above mentioned problem occurred..
When plugging and setting up his PS3, he plugged in the battery operated controller, first, which managed to become default. When the batteries, went dead, this caused a problem for the PS3..
.
Then second controller (original playstation controller that charges off USB but is wireless) was only being recognised as the second / 2nd controller..
This means when setting up games .
the first controller is not connected, as the first/ 1st controller (wirless battery operated controller) is, dead, and cannot work. .
The first controller looks dead to the playstation and won't / broken / wont / not work with the game.
Solution:--- Get new batteries and work out how to change the paddle / controller to player 1.
