Maintenance: fuel

As you can read on the Technical page these mopeds use plain gasoline. In my experience unleaded fuel is also good. I use unleaded petrol for already 5 years now and my moped drives just fine.
The only difference for the engine is that an engine ment for unleaded fuel has hardened valveseats because unleaded fuel has no knocking mildering particles (lead). Wil this hurt the engine? Probably not and otherwise you have to grind the valveseats, together with the valves.

I advise everyone to replace the fuel cap by another one with a lock on it, it's not expensive and it'll protect you against idiots

The fuel cock sometimes has to be replaced.
