Ok, gonna crawl through the page here & do some tidying up... at least that's the plan. But first, a little babbling... :-) You know me! I have to blither at least a little. It's therapeutic.
What's new at the Nest? Nothing yet, but I'm planning on it. What's new with the Ratt? Well, I'm in school again, like I said before - taking a "Computer Management & Computer Support" program and that is taking up a HUGE amount of time. I'd say it's keeping me out of mischief, but none of you would believe me. :-) Learning all sorts of things, at least that's the plan, and I believe that some of it IS sinking in... at least temporarily. The class is pretty small, around 14 students, depending on which class we're taking, as not everybody is in the program, some people are taking classes as sort of general interest.
I'm learning how to do a resume and cover letter, even though I have no interest in looking for another job, but I must say the Technical Writing stuff is starting to stick, which is scaring me to death!! :-) (If you've taken the class, you know what I mean... it's painful! Everything that we accept as "the norm" from our school days in English class & stuff, is now right out the window.) But it's good, and I like it.
Work is going alright. Learning stuff in the classic "trial by fire" method more than anything, find myself doing more & more training and assistance & troubleshooting and less straight data entry. I kinda miss that in a way, but I am still available to do the "gory" data entry that needs to be done when the accounts department needs certain things done to get everybody back in sync.
Anyway, class will resume here again in a sec, so I'm out for the moment. I'm hoping to jazz this place up some.

Ok, NOTHING is new... I'm secure enough to admit that. Nothing. Maybe a few bits of punctuation. Not like I get much in the way of traffic in here anyhow, so that's fine. I'm going to try to find time or something interesting to say or whatever in the future. But I'm busy with class now, so if you thought I didn't have time or inclination to update before... HA!
Alright, I confess, I sorta updated my bio page. Semi-half-hearted attempt. I'm on my lunch break in class right now, so rather than eat - like all good self professed geek-wanna-be's - I'm parked in front of the PC. Figures! :-)

Alright, alright, alright already!! Ok, I'm updating! I'm tidying. I'll even vacuum! (Break out my riding wet/dry vac! Lookout!! (there's one of you out there that'll understand that...)) Ok, I'm gonna give credit where it's due... mi amigo (don't kill me on the Spanish, I never took it at any point in time, other than to maybe have read the menu at El Taquito (Mexican restaurant near where I live, but haven't been to in like 10 years.) and I can massacre a language without trying anyhow... BUT I did get very good marks in English, thankyaverymuch, and it's only 'cuz I'm danged lazy, not stupid.) kinda prompted me to doing it. He said he thought I did a great job on my page, actually, which embarrased me since I haven't updated it much in the last 2 years, and the dust was so thick you could cut it with a chainsaw... (Your asthma acting up, dear? Mine is... *hack hack*, almost worth taking up smokin' so's not to waste this cough... almost... can't afford that habit anyhow...)
