XR-C450 and CDX-715
I bought this deck as soon as it came out in 97', I paid 200$ for it then but you can pick them up for about 150$ for them now, It was replaced by the XR-6100 in 98', which is identical to mine exept the mute is now changed to ATT. It has two sets of preouts, fadable, front and rear. power output is 35x4 max 14x4 rms. I bought a wireless remote for it for 32$ and it was well worth it. The D-Bass (digital) is awsome, if offers 3 levels of bass boost with out the boost running over into the lower midrange. And the most Important feature is the Detachable Face. This unit controls the CDX-715 10 disc changer, what a great changer.The changer is mounted in the glove box (had to be really creative to get this unit to fit). I have never had this changer skip yet, even running the Bronco down the 1/2 mile, muddy, rutt filled, snake trail into the party shack. It has a 3 second music buffer (anti shock), Digital D-Bass(awesome), and file manager/discnaming.

///ALPINE 3548
I got this amp a couple of months ago from a friend for 50$, its a little beat up but It still works like brand new. It puts out 60x2 rms 4ohms, I don't know any other spec. of the amp but I was told it sould put out 160 watts rms 4 ohm bridged. I plan on replacing this amp with a MTX Black Gold 2150 amp, 125x2rms @4ohms. It is now doing its duty running the front end....

12" Subs and BG2125 Amp.
I have Two of these Subs. Talk about Kick- @ss, heart pounding, pulse stopping, clear Bass. Yes I said clear! I bought them on clearance for $100 a Piece, very well worth it. They out pound my old sony 12's that were in a ported box, and these are in a sealed box, With the same amp. 12 gauge wire can be found inside the box running from the Terminals to the Subs. And They will handle 250 RMS easy..... And to push the subs, I have a MTX BG2125 which is rated at 125x2rms at 12 volts, and we all know that it will put out alot more that that.

Sony 6x9's 3way's
These are great sounding 6x9's, I know your not suppose to use 2 or 3 way speakers for rear fill but often, I carry passengers in the back seat, and why make them suffer with only mid range sound. I pick these up on clearance for 59$, used to be 119$ a pair. they are 97' model XS-7693. They handle 40 watts rms, 160 max each.They are mounted with ease in the factory 6x8 locations in the back side panels, with a little cutting and triming. They are powered by the decks internal amp.

Sony 5 1/4" 2 ways
These are not the best speakers but they work for now. These are left over from my original sytem which replaced the factory speakers in the doors. I recently made kick panels for the speakers and moved them. This dramtically improved the front image. They handle only 60 watts max and the unimpressive 20 watts rms each.I built the kick panels big enough to accomadate a 6.5" component set. When I get the component set I want, 6 1/2" mids and 1" tweets, I plan on putting these in my dads truck with the, yuck, factory system.They, along witf the Pioneers are now powered by the Alpine Amp.

Pioneer TS-T11 Tweeters
I bought these because of there reasonable price and sound clarity. I have them mounted in the kickpanels along with the 5 1/4" 2way sony's. They helped brighten the sound Stage quite a bit, power to these speakers comes from the Alpine amp.

Wiring is the most omportant part of the system to me, for power wire I used 4 gauge to run from the battery to the glove box, where I have a 1 into 3 fuse block. There is a 70 amp fuse only 12" inches away from the battery, a good place for it. I have 8 gauge running from the fuse block to my MTX amp located under the seat, where it is BOLTED down to prevent unwanted removal. I then have 14 gauge running from the block to the head unit. and the last spot has 8 guage wire running to the Alpine amp located in the center councel.. For RCA's I'm running MTX thunder link professional. a 3 foot running from the Disc changer to the Head unit. 10 foot running to the MTX amp under my seat. and of course I have the same size ground wire as power wire. the amp turn on is only 18 gauge, but then again you don't need anything bigger
