Our evening meetings center around discussions on a variety of topics related to mother's issues and interests. We periodically have a guest speaker present specific issues from an expert's point of view. Our meeings continue all year to reflect the continuing nature of our jobs as mothers.
Playgroups
Playgroups consist of about half a dozen moms who, along with their kids, meet in the daytime once a week at members' homes. In the summer, the playgroups combine and meet weekly at a variety of playgrounds in the area.
Children's Outings
On a monthly basis, we plan a group trip for moms and kids. Past outings have included strawberry picking, fire station tours, gymboree, and the zoo.
Mom's Night Out and Couple's Night Out
Once a month we have a social evening for our moms and couples. Past activities have included cooking classes, dining, card making, and mini-golf.
Seasoned Moms Activities
Outings for moms of older children, such as breakfasts, lunches, or coffee meetings without children during daytime hours. We also have activities for moms and school-age children.
Book Club
Each month the group has a book club to discuss books chosen by the group.
