Audio Tapes and Braille Books

Library of Congress - Books on tape and braille books loaned and sent free of charge to blind and physically handicapped persons.

Seedlings - Inexpensive braille books to buy.

American Printing House for the Blind - "World's largest source for adapted educational and daily living products since 1858."

Braille Institute - Among other things, the Braille Institute offers free magazines and books.

Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic - Audio tapes. Initial registration fee of $50 plus annual registration fee of $25. Many tapes available.

Xavier Society for the Blind (not a web link) - "The Catholic library for the blind". Books of a spiritual nature but you don't have to be a Catholic to participate. Call for a catalog and application. 1-212-473-7800
