Present tense

There are 3 types of conjugation in the Present tense, according to the change of the stem stress.

                Conjugation I

In the Ist conjugation the stem stress doesn't change.

númli to go

nalári to say, to tell, to talk

pwrlái to see

                    Conjugation II

The stress of verbs of the IInd conjugation moves to the -i in the I, II, III persons plural.

báxi to give

ckackóri to cook 

vockóni to know (used also as modal as to be able to)

                    Conjugation III 

The stress of the verbs of the IIIrd conjucation moves to the -i in all persons except the IVth.

maipalái to hunt

toghái to frighten

meppói to sing

                    Irregular verbs

rlái to flow (used as auxiliary in past tense)

ifáni to fly (used as auxiliary in future tense)

árli to make, to permit, to let (modal)

tóepi to want (used as modal as well as semantic)

ki to do

rhi 

I. to be

II. to eat 

 (these are, of course, only few of them)
