Well what can I say but it was a fantastic night at The Old Hall in Sandbach, Cheshire!!!!

The evening started with the Ghost Haunted North East team introducing them selves.There was about 20 people all together including 2 mediums one of which was Paul Sandbach a terrific spirit medium.

The Old Hall dates back 1656 and stands on the site of a previous manor house which burnt down. Over the years different ghosts have made their presence known to staff and residents of the hotel, objects move, strange presences are felt and apparitions have been seen. So I had very high hopes for the evening and I was not dissappointed.

We split up into three groups and headed off to different rooms in the hotel.The first we entered was room 4. Our guide asked me to place my hand on the fire place and immediatly I felt the presence of a man and a feelin of sickness came over me which was quite disturbing. After I had recovered form this yuky feelin all the lights where switched off and our vigil began. Our EMF meter was going crazy at the bottom end of the four poster bed which was really really stange. I took a few pics in the darkness one of which shows a large orb floating above the bed. The video footage also shows a orb floating up wards from the bottom of a free standing mirror in the corner of the room.

After a short break to calm our selves we entered the most haunted room in the hotel 'Room 11' eeeeeek! the medium Paul accompanied us along with his wife and daughter who is also a medium. Room 11 is reportadly the most haunted room in the hotel were many stange events have taken place so I was rather nervouse. Once the lights were switched off the medium detected 2 presences in the room 1 of which was right behind me OMG!. I moved sharpish to the other side of the room and the took a few pics covered in orbs . My partner who was sat in the corner of the room began to feel red hot and felt something touch the top of her head, the medium then picked up on one of the presence in the room, that of a woman who had been murdered in the hotel and she wanted him to go to the grave yard across the road to find her grave and give her recognition?. Then a mans surname came over 'Bullock' and all of a sudden the medium was over taken by a spirit. All hell broke loose! Two team members where called in to get him brought forward and it was quite a while before he came round. That was rather frighteneing I can tell you.

At around 3.00am a few of us decided to go into the grave yard to see what we could see.A beautiful church but rather spooky witha low lying mist hovering above the graves. I got a few good orb pics in here but the most strange thing was, is that right around the back of the church we found a grave with the name 'Bullock' on it. May be this woman in room 11 has links with this man who knows.

At this moment a few of our group jumped out from behind a grave stone and shouted BOO!!! and I WAS FREAKED (buggas)

Back at the hotel we then had a seyonce. Almost straight away my partner began to burn up again and when asked how she was feeling she burst out into tears with a overwhelming sence of sadness.After disscussions one of the mediums reported seeing a presence behind us both all night and a pic showed a massive orb right above our heads..... wonder who that was then. We left at 6am completely shattered but what a great night we had.
