Fine Arts Student Alliance

In the 2003/2004 academic year, I was the President of Concordia University's Fine Arts Student Alliance (FASA). I represented 2500 students in various visual, performance and film disciplines. Concordia's Faculty of Fine Arts is one of the biggest in Canada (if not the biggest) and it has a wider variety of degree granting programs than any other Faculty of Fine Arts in the country. Needless to say, it was a fascinating job.

The Bridge is a magazine produced by the New Student Program at Concordia. I wrote this article as an introduction for new students to FASA.

The Wedding Party

FASA threw this party in cooperation with the Art Matters festival. It was the middle sequence in the life cycle theme which also included "Birthday" and "Superhero Funeral". At the party, students were invited to get married by a sea captain. Divorces were also offered.
