students while I was in office. This is the release that we sent
to the student, local and provincial press. We managed to stop the
proposal at the Board of Governors. |

Concordia opened a cafe selling Starbucks coffee in the lobby
of the main building the summer after I took office. Many students
were upset, so we mounted a campaign to raise awareness about fair
trade coffee and Starbuck's social record. |
