lo:lita was born sometime in November of 2005. Rob, Ali, and Razor had all been playing in a tongue in cheek horror metal band called PMD. Rob, who had worked on PMD on and off since 1998, had grown very tired of how limited it was. The three decided to start over. Less than a year later an album was recorded. For their first show the band then opened for Japanese rock band BLOOD. Their performance was for a crowd of almost 300 people. The band has been playing out ever since.
In December of 2006 lo:lita let go of their bass player and hired new comer Jesse Cu. Though his first band, Jesse has taken to the bass and playing in a band as if he were with them from day one. |
