Suicide Warning Signs
1. Talking About Dying- Talking about disapearing, wishing they were invisable, jumping, shooting, death, or self harm.
2. Recent Loss- Has the person in question recently lost something or someone dear to them, whether through death, divorce, or simply moving away? Loss of a family member or friend can be very traumatic.
3. Change In Personallity- Has the person become sad, withdrawn, irritable, anxious, tired, indescicive, or apathetic?
4. Change in Behavior- Can't seem to concentrate on school, work, or routine tasks.
5. Change in Sleep Patterns- Insomnia, often with early waking or oversleeping, also does the person have nightmares?
6. Change in Eating Habits- Loss of appetite, and weight, or overeating?
7. Diminished Sexual Interest- Impotence, or  menstual abnormalities.
8. Fear of Losing Control- Going crazy, harming self or others.
9. Low Self-Esteem- Feelings of worthlessness, shame, overwhelming guilt, and self hatred.
"Why am I so useless and fat! The world would be better off without a freak like me."
10. No Hope for the Future- Holding onto the belief that nothing will change no matter what they do, it wont get better.
