| Knowing that technology causes stress, one must know the three stages of stress. Alarm- The body, in response to the stressor, releases hormones, such as Adrenalin, that cause the Fight or Flight reaction. Resistance- Psychosamatic symptoms, such as a fever, headache, or stomach ache, may be caused by finding ways to cope with the problem. Some have even gone blind, such as veterans, because the mind believes it has seen too much and the stress is harming the body. Exhaustion- In which the body begins to break down and may suffer from delusions. |
| 1. Limit your time in the stressful enviroment, get away from the computer take a step back and try a new hobby. Technology isn't worth heart disease. 2. Take a walk, getsome fresh air. The increased oxygen helps cells function better making thinking clearly much easier. 3. Go running or take up dance. excercise will cause your body to release endorphines, little hormones which make you happy. 4. Talk to someone. Letting out whatever is bothering you helps your mind to work through it like a puzzle helping you cope better. 5. Limit your caffine and sugar intake if possible. Caffine and sugar may make you happy and energetic temporarily but when they burn up, your body uses up real energy to digest them, the body crashes as it was only running on artificial energy. 6. Sleep and eat regularly, the best thing you can do for your body is to get the right amount of sleep and to eat properly, you need your energy to keep you happy. |
