LANDMARK MOMENTS Morna has advanced in her walking rapidly and walks on her own more and more. She still prefers crawling for speed. Watch out, 'cause she's gonna come get ya now! Morna has also started hugging people and things. It's very cute and we hope to have pictures of that very soon. Morna has been taking 2 or 3 steps on her own for a while, but today (give or take a day) is the first day she really walked on her own. Morna's two top front teeth are coming through. The one on the right-hand side has already crowned. Morna stands on her own for the first time. Morna has been vocal for some time now and has become more so lately. Becky said that Morna said Mommy today. March 25, 2004: Morna begins playing with her tongue - imitating pushing it out. Very cute. March 23, 2004: Morna begins to crawl with real forward motion. She also starts climbing with greater intensity. February 28-29, 2004: Morna's second tooth begins to appear - the lower left front tooth. February 17, 2004: Morna's first tooth begins to appear - the lower right front tooth. Weekend of December 20 & 21, 2003: We were hoping to put this landmark off for a while longer, but no such luck: Morna gets her first cold. (Unfortunately, Daddy got sick during the week and passed it on.) Friday, November 21, 2003: Daddy puts Morna to bed all by himself by singing her to sleep. (Probably more of a landmark for Daddy than Morna.) Sunday, November 16, 2003 (Last day of TRF): Morna blows her first (second, third...) rasberry aka the Bronx Cheer. (Mommy and Daddy have been teaching her some strange things.) Wednesday, November 12, 2003: Morna rolls from her back to her stomach and back again under her own power for the first time.
