Our section of Victoria St features a myriad selection of
restaurants, bars, cafe's and coffee shops. The famous
Tropicana Cafe is one of the closest and best of these
cafe's. Zen Day Spa is located just across the road from the
hotel for beauty and massage treatments, and next to it is
Govinda's Theatre, which shows two first release feature
movies every night.
Oxford Street is only 5 minutes walk away. The City, Opera
House, Darling Harbour and Sydney Football Stadium are all
within walking distance. St Vincent Hospital is two blocks
away. Eastern suburbs' ocean beaches are easily accessible
as are the harbour beaches at Redleaf and Neilson Park.
Local attractions include Paddington shops, markets,
galleries and cinemas; Darlinghurst nightclubs, bars and
restaurants; Woollahra's restaurants and antique shops; SCG
and Fox Studios all within a 15-20 minute walking radius.
Bondi beach, Circular Quay and central Railway are a short
bus ride.
Getting There:
CAR: Turn right at the top of William Street in front of the
"Coca Cola" sign and proceed 200 metres along Victoria
Street to the hotel entrance on the left.
TRAIN: Alight at Kings Cross station and exit to
Darlinghurst Road. Turn right, walk past the "Coca Cola"
sign and along Victoria street to the hotel.
TAXI: From
Sydney Airport about 20-25 minutes or from Central station
about 5-10 minutes. |
