Dear Federation Friends, Hello and Welcome to May! Finally there is a chance for good weather. May wraps up the year for the club but there is a lot going on. May 10th is the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk, please register and walk with us. Registration can be done on line http://www.beverlybreastcancerwalk.org/register.html or at Beverly Bank on May 9th. I know it is great to sleep on Mothers’ day but this is a great cause and these women I our community made it easy for us to walk close to home. We are going to meet @ 97th and Longwood at 7:45. May 12th is the Gold sale at Fran’s 7:00-9:00. I can’t wait to get some cash for my broken/old jewelry. May 17th is the BAPA home tour and we have a house. We need “hostesses” for the afternoon shift. Please contact Simone McNeil let her know you can work the afternoon shift. There is a party afterwards at Smith Village, so volunteer then bring a friend to the party. Or volunteer with a friend we will take non-MPJRs, of course we will try and convert them…. May 25th is Memorial day and I could use one or two more volunteers to help with Gear Check. 7:30-10:30 a.m. at Ridge Park. Contact me @ [email protected] We need your checks! Dues are due, $35.00. Please make the check out to Morgan Park Juniors. Also the Spring Banquet is Sunday, May 31st 2:00 at Koda. That check is also due. $45.00 for a lovely lunch and lots of fun.
