| This is a page dedicated to a character class of my own creation (with a little help from Cleopatra 2525). I was so intrigued by the character Creegan, I decided that he should be the inspiration for one of my Dungeons and Dragons characters. So here are the stats for creating a Bailey. One, you will need a knowledge of the second edition TSR system, otherwise the terminology used here will mean nothing. Bailey's are always fighter/theives no matter what race they are, even though human characters are a rarity. They move up like mult-class characters and their alignment is always chaotic/neutral or chaotic/evil. When a character decides to become a Bailey there is no turning back. The change is permanent. If a character decides to leave the faith, at least two Bailey's will appear in Avatar form. They will use their constructs (to be explained later) to destroy the infadel. A Bailey character's skin is pure white with whatever colored ascents the PC chooses. Essentially their appearance becomes that of their God Creegan. However, the Bailey can not choose to be red. When she or he has attained 20th level, they recieve "the call." At this time they must return to a Bailey temple and take up the role of priest or priestess. They gain cleric abilities, but can no longer adventure. The highest level Bailey in each temple will change their colors to red. This is done by the God Creegan. The individual is now the high priest or priestess of that temple. The Baily's weapons are highly specialized. When they join the faith, and recieve their change in appearance, they also recieve a construct. This is a weapon much like the one Creegan used in the episode of Cleopatra where he was introduced. The crystal-like sphere can be throw once per round and always hits, just like a magic missle. It does one D3 points of damage and the PC rolls a D20 everytime it is thrown. If a 20 is rolled the opponents jugular has been cut, and he or she will bleed to death in three rounds. Bailey's only use daggers. They can never choose another weapon, no matter how many WP slots open up to them. They can however use those slots to gain more expertise in their daggers. They are also automatically ambidextrous and can fight in two-handed fighting style. Above all Bailey's are chaos lords. They are extremely unpredictable, and do not have any loyalties except to their God Creegan and other Bailey's. In fact, they will risk their lives in order to save another of the faith, but they would not hesitate to steal from an old woman. Baileys only mate with their own, a little ethnocentric, but essential. |
