OK, I bet you're thinking, "She must have fallen off the face of the earth," that is if you're even thinking about me at all.....creepy. So on and on, I haven't had much time to work on my sites. Primarily this is because I've been looking into universities that teach science fiction/fantasy. I need my doctorate, and the only place that seems to offer this kind of specialization is the University of Kansas. But if anyone has any ideas, just drop me a line, I would GREATLY appriciate it. But that's the major goal, my short term desire is to exit the realm of temp work with extreme velocity. Let me just send props to all the temp workers out there, I don't see how you do it. The company you're working for is usually far from welcoming, and the job usually consists of grunt work the regular employees refuse to do. Not only that but they dangle the permanant posstion in front of your face as if it's a goal you can attain. But don't be fooled my friends, there is no light at the end of the tunnel, and as long as they can keep you there without benifits or self-respect, they will.
OK, let's get off that nasty subject and onto something fun. VISIONCON! Yes folks the convention of the year is just less than a month away. The producer of Andromada will be there, (Andromada the best show on cable TV in this humble writer's oppinion) and I can't wait to meet him. Unfortunately I won't be doing any costumes this year, I ran out of time and energy. But my next project is Harley Quin. Thusly I have been dieting and exersising my butt off, get it "butt off"......yeah I know. I don't want to be known as Chubby Quin, I'm sure you understand. Anyway, enjoy the links! |
