The Kidnap of Sharrash - Up to Date (well almost . . .)

As many of you know, and for those who didn’t, Sharrash, leader of the powerful garrison, Minas Morgul, has been kidnapped! She is currently being held hostage by a powerful Mouth of Sauron. She was kidnapped on her way to the training grounds by a band of treacherous minions, and taken with all speed towards Mirkwood. Immediately, a search team was issued from Morgul, who confronted a small group of enemies, which included a cave troll and some Orcs, and defeated them. They escaped unscathed, except for a few scratches. The journey continued, but while on the road towards Sharrash, they were besieged by a series of mental attacks, which resulted in a young cave troll attacking a fellow minion, and injuring his back using an axe. After escaping that, the minions once again carried on, and have lately been attacked by fifty orcs. This resulted in the death a minion, named TsunamiThunder. He came back to life later on. Maybe Melkor spared him....?

So now the Morgulers close in on the mouth, and get ready to rescue their leader....

Read the next issue, for the final outcome of this terrible situation...

Reality Television has reached Mordor in the form of new thread SURVIVOR: Mordor

The contestants for the contest (who have been picked just a matter of minutes ago) are: TsunamiThunder; Lord_Raek; Borrarz; Sepheroth; Shelob the Dark; Umarth and Raven Aniron. Over the next 24 hours, these contestants will vote for one final contestant to enter the contest. They will each have one vote and must decide to cast it for one of the following three minions: Gutbrug; Tuftie 27 or IX_Yawgmoth_IX.

Once all of the contestants have been successfully installed in the survivor camp, they will undergo activities and week by week will vote one minion off the island. They will also fight each week for immunity because the minion with this privilege will be unable to be evicted from the island on that particular week. It all kicks off on Saturday 18'th October so get ready for six weeks of backstabbing and alliances. SURVIVOR: Mordor is here!

The Writing on the Wall - the Morannon Report

Times have been busy of late at the Black Gate. Our numbers have swollen so much that the Morannon, once the least populated of the three garrisons, now holds the most members. And what a group of warriors they are. We have old warhorses such as God of Death and Bashtakh, as well as some seasoned campaigners such as Schmoopy and Tuftie. New recruits who have settled in well are Goridon - a tough Uruk archer and Awkrag (Nienna) the Mighty, who hails from a southern bog. We have also welcomed Caravas, an Easterling from Rhun. Two of the most enigmatic arrivals have been Lord Raek, a drow who after being hung from the Black Gate for insubordination, survived to be given a second chance, and Yawgmoth, a mysterious character with an even more mysterious background. In fact, I can’t quite explain exactly who or what Yawgmoth is but I know he’s good with a sword and dedicated to the Kingdom.....and what else do you need in a minion?

The intelligence of Narchost reported a caravan making its way across the Plains of Dagorlad and so this was the first real test of the recruited warriors. The wagons were accompanied by a host of Gondor pike men and a cavalry unit, consisting of 15 or so stout horsemen. They put up a brave fight, and many orcs and Uruks were lost, but no serious injuries were received by the Warriors. A Gondor maiden was brought back to the gate, either to be my mistress or my dinner...I haven’t decided yet.
Mysteriously, two lone Elven riders approached the Gate, before being taken under guard and brought to my attention. Their purpose is still not clear......

The Morannon currently stands with 15 Warriors, leaving room for 5 more. Competition is tight, and with Mordor’s current growth in numbers, only the best will find themselves with the red gauntlet - the mark of the Morannon!

Presenting to you . . . . Our new advice column

Dear Advice for the Hatelorn,

My big, awful, stuffy Minion pride makes it very hard for me to admit this, but... I need help. You see, I’m a repressed closet-case, and I’m absolutely terrified of coming out. Coming out of my subterranean caves, that is.  I’ve been looking for love in all the wrong crevices.  I was raised in another kingdom to believe that being Evil is BAD, so from my upbringing can suddenly coo and dance and sing very happily all the time about how disgusting and perverted minion ness is, but the only person I’m fooling is myself. I could probably discipline myself to a chaste, tortured existence, except there’s a very mangy, maggoty person (although clothes may be white underneath) who follows me around pledging eternal hate and scurrilous ness. Sometimes when it gets too close, I... freeze up. Some time I trip over my own wings! I get all tingly in the snout, and can’t carve bodies straight, and always after I’m very angry with myself for being ambivalent. Of course I take it all out on that poor suffering Ist-er- person, because I have those fiery appearances to maintain. But I always feel so guilty for doing it! I’m also afraid that one of these days it’ll decide it’s had enough love and find disgust in the arms of another minion. I couldn’t live with such contentment and peace!

Please, advise me. I want to blast fire at it, saying how I really feel before it’s too late, but I can’t seem to make myself take that first step over the chasm.

Sincerely,
Miserable in Moria

Sharklash and Sepheroth are both Level Seven mouths of Sauron and are both Lieutenants of their respective Garrisons. As the voting showed, both of the aforementioned minions deserved the recognition but in the end
Sharklash was voted as the Minion of the Month for October.

The votes are as follows: Sharklash- 9; Sepheroth- 7; Mandallah- 2; Borrarz, Sauron, Elberone, Delduwath, Sharrash- 1

Necromancer's Guild RPG

"Attention all members! The scrolls of power have been stolen! I summoned you here as soon as I was able to, as we need to retrieve the scroll immediately!" -(Winddancer, former Guildmaster)

The scrolls of power have been stolen, well, at least in the Necromancers guild they have. A Gondorian ranger has entered the guild and stolen them! Several members of the guild quickly followed the thief until they reached Gondor and decided to lay low in disguise to attempt to locate the thief.

If you are a member of the guild, then come along and help Umarth, more Elda, King Mauwurz and Mutare find and recover the Scrolls of Power.

Mordor Vs. Fangorn

Interkingdom Race

Recently, the Fangorn Squizzels, the Mordorian Lava Snakes and their owners, took part in a deadly race. Few racers there were but Sauron, Miriel Arion, Elberone and King Mauwurz all took part for the glory of Mordor, and fun of course.

Unfortunately, the Entish team resigned due to a lack of players on their part (something which we have suffered from in the past) and therefore Mordor won!
