MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and is an international group that is designed to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. We want to assure you that what you do matters, and that YOU matter. We accept every mother as God loves and accepts us, right where we are. Women of all denominations are welcome at MOPS, as are those who do not attend church.
We meet the first and third Tuesdays of each month, from 9:30-11:30 AM, at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church. At the first Tuesday meeting, we meet for coffee and refreshments, group discussion and an adult craft. Volunteers from the church provide childcare at this meeting.
The third Tuesday meeting is designed to encourage you to have fun with your child. This meeting usually involves a variety of activities you can do with your child along with a snack made by the children.
