CHOLENT

1 beg of dry beans
1 1/2 Kg. beef (chicken can be used too)
4-6 peeled potatoes
1 onion
salt, paper, paprika
oil or goose/chicken fat
3-4 full tablespoon honey
5-6 cups water
3-5 eggs

* Soak beans in boiled water overnight
** If forgotten put beans in hot water with
    1 tablespoon of baking soda for 4-5 hours

Pre-heat oven to 180/350 degrees

Europe = 180      USA = 350

Method

Drain beans, cut onion to rings and fry.
When gold-brown remove from heat.
Place beans on top of the fried onion and
stir. Place meat in the pot center and circle
the meat with potatoes.

Mix honey with water, salt, paper and paprika
and add to pot.  Cook for about an hour and
remove from heat.

Let it stand to cool and then add eggs.
Cover pot tightly and place in oven for
about 30 min. Reduce heat to 90/180 degrees
and bake for another 5 hours.
Reduce heat to 50/95 degrees and bake until
ready to eat.

Tip # 1 - add meatballs to the pot
Tip # 2 - If you are born Israeli......
             add Jachnun on top


ASK ME
NUGGETS  (oriental)

1 Kg chicken breast
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
oil
all purpose flour

Methods
Mix 2 sauces together
Cut breast to pcs and put in the mixed sauce
and leave for 1 hour
Drain breast and coat with the flour
Fry on medium heat.
