General Information: The leader of the Gundams is a person of some mystery. His real name was Odin Lowe, Jr. before he was codenamed for the assassinated pacifist colony leader. He is from one of the L-1 colonies, of Japanese ethnicity, with dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. He is the grimmest of the pilots, but is really a kind boy at heart, just extremely devoted to his mission as a Gundam pilot. Raised since childhood by the scientist/engineer Doctor J, he was trained to be a ruthless killing machine, proficient at combat in or out of a mobile suit, demolition and computer hacking: the "Perfect Soldier." Once, he had a practice mission: just before it was about to commence he met a little girl and her dog. Later, he found that he had made a miscalculation and this little girl and her dog paid for it with their lives: knowing this, he was very remorseful. Dekim Barton, the man behind the Gundams, saw this and told Doctor J to retrain Heero to be a better soldier so he wouldn't regret what he did,
and then sent Heero to Earth as part of Operation Meteor. While his upbringing has not quite managed to squeeze all compassion out of him, he is nevertheless callous to his allies, cold-hearted to his enemies, and almost suicidally careless of his own life, willing to do anything if it means he can complete
his missions. Considering this, it is surprising and somewhat ironic when, after swearing to kill the girl who knows too much about him to begin with and having many opportunities to do just that, cold-hearted Heero can't bring himself to do it and even protects her. This is the first step in his reclaiming his humanity.

Age and General Appearance:Depending on which Gundam
series you watch, Heero is 15 in "New Mobile Report Gundam Wing," the 49-episode series,
and 16 in "Endless Waltz." He is about 5'3" tall (156 cm.), 99 lbs. (45
kg), blood type A, and has dark blue eyes and dark brown/moss green hair
cut short. Generally preferring to dress nicely, he likes to fight in his
olive green top and black Spandex shorts but will fight in dress clothes
if one pops up with no time for changing.
Personality: Heero is often quite rude even to his friends. He doesn't seem to care for much of anything except his mission...and Relena, who doesn't seem to mind his brusqueness. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, it's for a good reason. Most of the time, Heero confines his remarks to monosyllables. Nor does he have much of a sense of humor: his laugh can be rather intimidating, especially in a fight.
Abilities: Like all the pilots, Heero has a strong destructive tendency. He is also good at tactics and battle strategy, manuevering and fighting in just about anything, hand-to-hand combat, handling weapons and explosives, and anything to do with engineering and machinery.
