A/N: Gomen nasai....it took so long....Here's chapter five...thank you for your patience. I was struggling with this for a long time. I couldn't decide if I wanted Trunks to stay or return to his time....I do have ideas for both so maybe I'll do another story later with the other story line. In the meantime...please enjoy and let me know if I made the right decision when I wrote this. I won't tell you weather he's staying or returning...BWAAAAHAAAA (evil laugh), you'll just have to read it! It won't happen until the next chapter anyway, but this chapter will tell you pretty much what he's thinking of doing.

To avoid confusion, when the two Trunks are in the same scene, our hero will be referred to as Mirai Trunks or M. Trunks (when I'm lazy). Trunks is just Trunks.

I'm also finishing up a Bulma and Vegeta story, Goku and ChiChi is also coming!

Usual Disclaimer...I do not own DBZ or it's characters na no da.....(any Fushigi Yuugi fan out there?)

Past Perfect - Chapter 5: Reunion
By: Moonraven

"WE'RE BACK!" shouted Pan with joy. She jumped up and hugged Trunks happily and pressed the door release button. Sensing less enthusiasm from her companion, Pan turned to Trunks quizzically. "Trunks?"

Before he could say anything, they heard voices and foot steps rushed into the time machine. Gohan grabbed Pan by the waist and swung her in the air. Bulma and Videl followed in closely behind. Since the others didn't fit inside, they waited impatiently outside. Trunks poked his head inside and try to get a good look before he was bumped by Goten who was trying to do the same. Bra was wedged between the doorway and the squabbling Trunks and Goten. Vegeta stood a few feet back, arms crossed, frowning ferociously. HUMANS! He thought to himself.

Mirai Trunks stood a little apart still not sure he should be here at all. At the site of Bulma, Trunks eyes watered and sadness filled his heart. Tried as he might, he could not hold back the tears that silently fall as he thought of his own mother.

Bulma came over to the young man and hugged him tenderly. She knew how hard this must be for him and fully intended to give him the love and support of a mother. After all, he is her son. She looked lovingly into his eyes, "Trunks, I know I'm not your real mother and I would never want to replace her but I hope you'll give me the chance to act in her stead. Please give us here a chance to love you."

Trunks nodded silently, unable to speak. More tears ran down his face as he held on to Bulma tightly.

"Panny!" Gohan exclaimed, oblivious of the heart wrenching scene next to him. "I was so worried, are you alright? When you just took off like you did.....we didn't know what happened to you"

"I'm fine, daddy." Pan laughed, then looked over to Trunks. "Daddy, you remember Trunks, don't you?"

Gohan let her down and looked over to where Trunks and Bulma were. He wasn't sure how to take their bonding, but prepared to be civil. When he saw the distraught Trunks, his grief for the younger man overshadow the current misgivings and he gave Trunks a friendly nod. "Welcome back, Trunks." He said warmly. "I'm very sorry to hear about Bulma."

Trunks nodded his thanks, not trusting his voice.

Pan went to hug her mom and Bulma and they all started to move out of the time machine. Outside, they were greeted by the rest of the crowd and M. Trunks found himself face to face with Trunks. The older man gave him a friendly smile and offered his hand. Mirai Trunks clasped it warmly and smiled back. "Dude, this is way cool!." Came a voice next to him. M. Trunks turned to the voice and was startled to see ... "Goku?" he asked, surprised.

The man laughed, "No. Goten, his son." He also offered his hand which Trunks hesitantly shook. His hair was slightly shorter than Goku but the expression on his face and that disarming smile was exactly the same.

"Me next, me next." Came the squeal of a girl about Pan's age. She had blue hair and looks very much like Bulma. She did not offer him her hand but flew into his arms and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Welcome, brother." She beamed. Trunks was blushing and mumbled his thanks. From being the only child a few moments ago, he now had a sister.

Only Vegeta is left. The saiyan prince walked over to them and nodded to Pan. He looked Trunks over and said, "I see you've defeated the androids. But I already knew you would do that." He nodded his approval. Trunks couldn't believe the change in his father. He actually talked to him, not just grunting and yelling. And was that a hint of pride he saw on his father's face?

Bulma squeezed her mate's hand gently. They had talked about this in great detail after their last conversation with Pan. They knew that it was a distinct possibility that Trunks may come with Pan. Bulma and Vegeta did not hesitate the thought of taking him in. Even Trunks was looking forward to having a 'little brother'. The only concern was Gohan.

Gohan was more than a little upset that his little girl, in a matter of a few days, had bonded with Vegeta's son. Trunks, in this time was somewhat of an irresponsible ladies man. His on and off relationship with Marron did not improve Gohan's opinion of him, and he wondered if this younger Trunks will eventually adopt the same behavior. But being a Son, Gohan's good heart and nature won over the misgivings. After all, this was the very same young man that had fought side by side with him against Cell. This was the same young man that saved his father's life from the heart virus. And this is the man that his daughter choose to love. He's big enough to accept that - for now. Pan was only 17. If they are willing to wait and not rush into anything, he's willing to give them a chance.

Videl slipped her small hand in Gohan's. ::You do remember when we were that age, don't you?:: she asked him silently, knowing what his thoughts were dwelling on.

Gohan smiled down at his wife. ::It's because I remembered that's why I'm worried::

::Trust our daughter, Gohan::

They moved inside the main house and Trunks remembered all too vividly the last time he was here. It was only a week ago for him but it was 30 years for them. The place looked pretty much the same. He was always sadden to see the difference in Capsule Corps. between this time and his time.

Pan knew exactly what he was feeling, his sadness was stifling her. She came to walk next to him and slipped her hand in his. She send him encouraging thoughts and squeezed his hand. Trunks squeezed backed and smiled down at her. She IS his guardian angel.

"Who's hungry?" Bulma asked cheerfully. A chorus of 'ME's' rang out as she led them to the kitchen where her robot helpers had set up large amounts of food. Seeing that there are two more saiyans to feed, Bulma set the program for more food.

The meal was lively to say the least with Bra and Pan's usual enthusiasm. Pan told them almost everything that occurred when she was in Trunk's time. Gohan kept looking at him as she spoke but Trunks only nodded to support her story and kept on eating. Swallowing was not that easy, though, under Gohan's scrutiny but he managed not to choke. Pan was pretty thorough except for the bonding part. She left that out completely.

"What I wanna know is, how did you guys get, like, bonded?" Bra's cheerful and curious voice chimed in. M. Trunks' effort to keep the food from lodging in his windpipe failed and he began to cough violently. Gohan reached over and slap the younger man on the back, none too gently. If Trunks wasn't a saiyan, he was sure his vertebrae would have been permanently damaged. Gohan's eyes narrowed dangerously as he said, "My thoughts exactly".

Silence filled the room and Pan gulped nervously. "It's not what you think, daddy." She looked at him through her lashes, her face downcast. "Nothing happened. Maybe we should discussed it later?" She pleaded.

"Awww, no way!" Bra protested. "I brought it up, I wanna know."

Pan gave her a look that could freeze an erupting volcano and Bra abruptly said "Er...well, we can talk later." Then her face brighten, "Hey! Marron, the boys and I are going shopping in a few, wanna come? You are welcome too, of course, Trunks. I'll be FUN."

"Um..no, thank you. I think I'll stay here." Trunks murmured. "If that's okay." He looked at his current set of parents. "Of course it is! You're home now Trunks." Bulma smiled warmly making Trunks blush.

"I think it's time Pan comes home." Gohan said quietly, daring his daughter to refuse. "Er..sure, daddy." Pan said rather quickly. "I'm kinda tired." And she demonstrated with a yawn.

"Hello!" came a female voice from the direction of the front door. "Marron!" Bra squealed in delight as she rushed to greet her friend. Trunks also got up and follow his sister. Pan leaned over to Mirai Trunks and whispered, "Your girlfriend is here."

Trunks looked at her smiling face and frowned. His girlfriend? He looked up at the doorway when people started to pile in. The first to come to the door was a short man with no nose. "Krillin?" M. Trunks was shocked to see the bald monk with so much hair. "Hey, Trunks? Man you have not changed. What are you doing here, my friend? Did you bring our little Panny back?" He greeted. Trunks and a small blond girl came in next, hand in hand. Mirai Trunks looked over to Pan and she nodded, smiling. So that's what she meant. ::Yep!:: came her mental voice. ::So are you gonna fall for her too?:: Trunks smiled at her and mentally said, ::Nope, I'm taken::

What happened next took everyone completely by surprise. M. Trunks looked back over to where his other self is and jumped about 3 feet off the floor, knocking his chair over. He flared to super saiyan and glared at the new figured by the door. Android 18 stared at Trunks in surprise.

Pan jumped in front of Trunks and put her hands on his chest. "NO, Trunks, she's a friend. Remember Krillin's wish?" Pan tried desperately to calm him down. "Please, Trunks, you've destroyed the other 18."

Trunks came to his senses and powered down. He now remembered that he DID destroy 18 and this is not his time line. "I'm....sorry...I... I..."

"That's alright. Just...don't do that again." 18 gave Trunks a wry smile. She cocked her head slightly and a flicker or recognition flashed in her eyes. "I remember you. You got clobbered by Vegeta, trying to help me."

"Um, yeah. Some...thing like that." Trunks colored slightly, recalling the incident she mentioned. He had been trying to get her to escape Cell but Vegeta had other ideas. He sneaked a peek at his father who was leaning against the wall on the other side of the room. Vegeta was watching them silently. He too remembered that day, and he was less than proud of his own behavior. He grunted and looked out the widow, signaling that this conversation is not worth his attention.

Pan let out a huge sigh. "Jeez, Trunks. You almost gave me a heart attack!"

He touched her cheek softly, "Sorry." Suddenly aware that everyone was probably watching them, he quickly turned away and pick up his chair. Everyone who was holding their breaths, let it out and normal conversation resumed, with the exception of the ferocious scowl on Gohan's face.

Pan was reluctant to leave Trunks but ever since the subject of her bonding came up, her father had been sporting a thunder cloud as a hat. It would be wiser to go home with her parents than to risk an outbursts from her father. But before she left, she must make sure he'll be here when she returned. She found him alone on the balcony looking out at the buildings and trees outside the compound. She watched him silently for a few second, taking in his relaxed form. She wanted to run her hand through the lavender tendrils blowing in the afternoon breeze and kiss his sadness away.

Sensing her presence as well as her thoughts, Trunks turned to smile at her. He beckoned her to join him and they stood watching the horizon together.

"I have to go with my parents." She told him softly.

"I know." He turned to her and gazed into her eyes. "I'll be here." He answered her silent question.

Pan grinned happily. "I'll see if I can visit tomorrow. But maybe this will be a good time for you to spend some quality time with your family?" She let her hand brush against his and send him encouraging thoughts. ::I bet Vegeta is dying to spar with you.::

Trunks frowned slightly and looked towards where his father was leaning against the wall in the living room a little apart from everyone else, with his arms folded across his chest. ::I don't know....his posture hasn't changed and he wouldn't even train with me then.::

::Trust me, that's 30 years ago for him. He's really proud of you.:: Pan reassured him.

"PAN!" Her father yelled from the front door. Pan rolled her eyes and gave Trunks' hand one last squeeze before she turned to go. ::Give my dad time, he'll get use to this.:: She mentally told him as she ran towards the door.

********************** **************** ***************

As it turned out, Pan could not visit for quite a few days. Gohan seemed to have all kinds of errands for her to do. She talked to Trunks as much as she could with their bond but somehow that only make the fact that she can't hold him more unbearable. Having a saiyan as a father, it's not like she can sneak out and meet Trunks somewhere. Gohan would surely sense their ki together and all HFIL will break loose. Pan sighed and prop her chin in her hand as she laid stretched out on her tummy in the back yard. ::I missed you so much, Trunks::

"I missed you too, Pan." Trunks voice sounded right behind her. Startled, Pan turned to find Trunks standing a couple of feet from her.

"Trunks!" She squealed and flew into his arms. She buried her face in the crook of his neck and inhaled his familiar scent. Trunks held her closed and nuzzled her neck.

"How come I didn't feel you coming? Oh, if daddy finds out, Trunks, you'll be in so much trouble!" She mumbled into his neck.

Trunks pull gently away and held up his right wrist. There was his ki shield that he always wore in his time. Pan grinned at him. "Clever boy!"

"Since your parents are working, I thought I might get you alone for a while. Have something in mind?" He asked, leaning close to her. His lips were just a hairline away from hers and Pan felt the familiar warm fuzzy feelings at the pit of her stomach. The same feelings she always get when she was close to him.

"I have a few things in mind..." she murmured as she closed the distance and their lips met. The kiss was gentle and tender. There was no rush and they took their time feeling each other's skin and texture. Trunks pulled her tighter in his embrace and ran his tongue along the outline of her lips. Pan moaned softly and sucked on his upper lip as Trunks gently chew her bottom lip. Her heart was thumping so hard in her chest she was afraid he could feel it. Pan shivered slightly as Trunks trailed his lips and tongue along her jaw line and down her neck. The pleasurable sensation increased with every nip and lick he adorned her neck. Feeling more than bold, Pan trailed her hand down his broad chest, feeling the tense muscle underneath his shirt. She continued down until she found the hard evidence of his desire for her. She rubbed his aroused member gently at first, eliciting a growl from Trunks. Then she pressed harder, leaving no room for doubts about what she really want him to do with his manhood. Trunks had an urge to bite down on the soft tissue along her shoulder but settled for her lips instead. He wanted so bad to tear off her clothing and make wild passionate love to her...needless to say, the front yard of her house is not the best of places. Trunks was rapidly loosing control of his senses. This was moving much faster than he had anticipated and he needed to cool things down. ::Hmm...but she tastes so good!:: he thought to himself.

::Thank you! You're definitely not bad yourself:: Pan teased back.

Gently he pulled away and kissed the tip of her nose. Again, she nipped his chin and he felt a tug in his subconscious about the significant of the gesture.

Noticing Trunks frown, Pan snuggled into his chest and asked, "Anything wrong?"

"NO." Rather too quickly. "Nothing at all." He hugged her closed and kissed the top of her head.

Pan was not buying it. He was blocking her mentally and she wasn't sure why? What is he hiding? Is he leaving to go back to his time? She pushed away from his chest and looked up at him apprehensively.

"Trunks, you're not leaving me...." She barely whispered. Fear evident in her eyes.

"Silly Panny. Whatever gave you THAT idea?" He said, ruffling her hair.

"You." She said simply. "You're blocking me out and you seem distracted. What's wrong?"

"Still persistent aren't we, Miss Son. Nothing is wrong, I'm just getting adjusted to this new life of mine, that's all."

Pan sighed. Maybe he's telling the truth. It is quite a change from his former life, maybe he's just trying to adapt.

"What do you think of your father now?" He couldn't be having problems with Vegeta?

Trunks smiled. "Father is not what I expected at all. He's different than the last time I was here. You're right, Pan, I do believe he cares. He actually gave me a few bruised ribs the other day."

"Hmm...you're probably the only person I know that would consider a bruised rib to be a good thing." She teased. Pan is so glad that Trunks and Vegeta are bonding. He needed this so much. She can see the changes in his eyes, they no longer hold that perpetual sadness and pain.

"When will your dad return today?" Trunks asked, looking towards the Son's home.

"Not for a few hours yet. Why? Do you have something in mind?" She asked huskily, nuzzling his neck.

"Yes, but not what you think." He laughed, holding her off. "Well, THAT too but definitely not here."

Pan frowned, "You're not...THAT afraid of him, are you?"

"If I'm smart, I would be. He could use me for target practice." He smiled. "I wanted to talk to him, that's all."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Why am I serious?" With a hint of playfulness.

"NO! why do you want to talk to him?" With a audible TWAP! As she whack him in the arm.

Trunks sighed as he sat down on the grass and patted the space next to him. He looked at the trees in the distance and seemed not to noticed as she glomped on to his arm. He should have done it before. He should have talked to Gohan as soon as he had the chance. Now the older man was probably thinking that he's some kind of coward that made a move on his daughter and hid when faced with an angry father. Trunks sighed again.

"Trunks, what's wrong?" Pan sensed his uneasiness even through the barrier he had up.

"Pan, I don't think it was a good idea to wait this long to talk to your father." He explained. "I don't think time is going to change his opinion of me for the better. Just think, if you were your father, wouldn't YOU want the man that courted your daughter to have some backbone and talk to you?" He laid back on the grass, starring up at the clouds. "I'm talking to Gohan today."

Pan swallowed hard. Come to think of it, her father did not seem more adjusted to the idea of her bonding with Trunks. Every time Pan or Videl brought up Trunks name, they could feel energy rising in the room. She just didn't want Trunks to get hurt.

"It has to be done, Pan. Hurt or not, I have to do this." He took her hand and brought it to his lips. "I trust that Gohan will not be irrational."

::Yeah, well, maybe not in YOUR time...:: Thought Pan to herself. ::I hope you're right, Trunks.:: She send this thought to him.

************* ************** ***************

That night after dinner, the door bell rang. Gohan's ki had already risen since he felt the younger saiyan's energy approaching a few minutes ago.

"Trunks, what a surprise!" Pan's greeting can be heard from the door. Trunks rolled his eyes at her obvious lack of acting skills.

"I would like to speak to Gohan, please." He said this to Videl who appeared right behind her daughter. Videl gave him a sympathetic smile and Trunks was glad that at least one of her parents was not angry with him.

"This way, Trunks. He's in his office." Videl led him to a spacious room lined with books from wall to wall. Gohan was sitting behind a large desk appearing to be totally absorbed in his computer. "Good luck." Videl whispered before closing the door. Mentally she told her husband to please give this boy a chance.

Trunks stood by the door for a long time.

So long in fact, he was beginning to shift from foot to foot.

He swallowed nervously and cleared his throat. Gohan looked up and stared coolly at the fidgeting young man.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Gohan asked, gesturing to the chair in front of his desk.

Trunks let out the breath he didn't know he was holding and moved with some relief to the chair. Before he sat down, he bowed deeply to the man in front of him. "I'm sorry, Gohan, I should have been here earlier. I just wasn't sure if you wanted me to." He sat down and looked at the older man in the eye. "NO. I KNOW you didn't want me to but that shouldn't have mattered. I should have the decency to at least explain a few things. Again, I'm sorry." He looked down at his hands in his lap.

Gohan observed Trunks in silence. He found it hard to stay mad at the younger man who he still remember so clearly. Trunks was his childhood hero too. It's not easy getting over the fact that one of your heroes was bonding with you daughter. He was about to say something when Videl nudged him mentally. He growled at her and from somewhere in the kitchen, the sound of a plate hitting the floor can be heard. Gohan smirked a very "Vegeta" smirk.

"Tell me how it happened, Trunks. Everything. And I'll know if you're lying." Gohan said, blocking out his wife and her mental cursing. He leaned back in his chair and patiently waited for the other man to begin.

Trunks swallowed, hard and began with, "Nothing happened." Gohan rolled his eyes. Why do kids always say that first? Didn't they know it made them look even more suspicious? He swore kids think their parents are stupid or something.

"I meant nothing ..er...physical happened." Trunks blushed slightly. "Okay well, it's not exactly nothing but we ...um.. I mean.. we didn't...er..."

"You didn't sleep with my daughter." Gohan supplied.

"EXACTLY!" Trunks let out a huge sigh. "Gohan, I won't lie to you and say that we didn't....that I didn't want it to happen because I really did. But I knew I promised you that nothing will happen to Pan. Even that, I failed. First the bond and then the android. I'm very sorry, Gohan." He looked at the older man solemnly.

"How were you bonded?"

"We were sparring and I don't know what happened. She crashed into me and our eyes locked...then things just exploded in our heads...it was somewhat painful....I don't know how to explain it. That's the truth, Gohan. That's all that happened. But...." Trunks hesitated.

"But...what?" Gohan prompted.

"Well, this may sound strange but Pan has been haunting my dreams since I was young. Since the first moment I saw Pan, I felt like I've known her all my life. I know how it sounds...it's pathetic even from where I'm sitting but that's the truth."

Gohan was silent. With all the things he had seen and went through, what Trunks said wasn't all that weird.

"What are your intentions, Trunks?" Gohan asked quietly, still gazing at the young man intently.

Trunks looked troubled and shifted his eyes down to his hands in his lap. He was quiet for a few moment before he said with some hesitation, "Father said that since the...the other 2 bonds were not in placed...well, um....with time, the mental bond will dissipate."

"What are you saying?" Gohan's voice was icy.

Trunks took a deep breath and looked up at the older man. "I love Pan with every cell in my body. I would rather die a thousand deaths than see her hurt. I didn't want it to happen, Gohan, you have to believe me. I...have too many baggage on me that I'm afraid I can't give her everything she needs. Not only that, I...I don't belong here...I...have to go back. I never meant to come here, it all happened so fast..." He was talking so fast he had to stop to take a breath. "I'd understand if you want to kill me now."

"I see..." Gohan said dangerously. "You made may daughter fall in love with you, bonded with her and now you are going to leave her. Tell me why I shouldn't want to kill you?"

"I'm doing this for HER." Trunks almost yelled. "She deserves someone better. Someone at least from the same world. Someone with no painful past and horrible nightmares to overcome. Someone who can make her see joy and laughter instead of pain. If I go away now, she might find that happiness later on...."

"Did you ask her what she wants?" Gohan couldn't believe he was doing this. Why can't he shut the hell up? Isn't this what he wants? For them to be apart? GOHAN! What the hell's wrong with you!!!!

"I know what she'll say, Gohan. You do too. She's very young...I don't want her to regret making a life bond to someone later just because she was young and impressionable. I mean...isn't this what YOU wanted anyway? For Pan to be free from the bond? It's for the best, Gohan. It's best that she forgets about me." Trunks ended sadly.

"Well, actually I just wanted my little girl to be happy. I wanted you two to take it slow and not consummate the rest of the bonds until she was at least 18. I did NOT want you to break my little girl's heart OR return to your time." Gohan surprised even himself with that bit of revelation.

Trunks, on the other hand, was nearly knocked off his seat by the surprise. He just stared at Gohan with his mouth hung open.

"What did you expect, Trunks?" Gohan asked, smiling slightly at the look on the boy. "I understand love and bonds better than you think. I think you really need to think about what would make YOU happy. Going back to your time and be alone or stay here in our time with us. What would it take to heal your pain, Trunks?"

The younger man did not answer. He sat staring at his knees with a slight frown.

"Think about it Trunks. In the meantime, don't do anything rash." With that he returned his attention to the pile of papers on his desk.

Feeling like he's been dismissed, Trunks got up and turned to go. "Gohan..."

Gohan looked up from his work.

"Thanks." Trunks said with sincerity and left.

***************** ********************* **************

Back in the kitchen, Videl and Pan was busy picking up the broken pieces of porcelain off the floor. "If I dropped that you'll lecture me for hours." Pan grumbled. "What happened? You looked like you saw a monster or something."

"I heard one." Videl muttered under her breath. Her husband can be SO primal at times. (A/N: YUM! Gohan can be a such a babe!!)

"Mom, what do you think they're doing? I mean, it's been a while and I don't hear or feel anything." Pan asked, picking up yet another small piece.

"Don't worry, Pan. If he's beating up on Trunks, we would have heard it." She hoped.

A few minutes later, Trunks walked into the kitchen. Both women looked up and let out a huge sigh of relief when they saw that he was intact. Pan jumped up and ran into his arms.

"How did it go?" She whispered into his chest.

"Very well, actually." He smiled at Videl and kissed the top of Pan's head. "Look, I think I won't overdo my first visit or Gohan might just change his mind. I'll talk to you later, okay?" He ruffled her hair affectionately.

Pan looked up, her eyes shining. "I'm so happy, Trunks. Should I come over tomorrow?" Then looking at Videl, "Can I, mom? Please?"

Videl laughed at her daughter's puppy dog look. "Since you only have a few days before school starts, I guess you can relax and have some fun. I'll talk to your father. He owes me one." She looked meaningfully at the broken dish on the counter. Trunks and Pan looked and each other blankly.

******************** ****************** *************
That night at Capsule Corps. Trunks looked down thoughtfully from his balcony at the time machine in the yard. His thoughts flitted to a certain small framed young woman whose dark eyes had been haunting his unconscious mind since he can remember. His mind went back to what Gohan had told him,

<I think you really need to think about what would make YOU happy. Going back to your time and be alone or stay here in our time with us. What would it take to heal your pain, Trunks?>>

What WOULD make him happy? He snickered as he overheard Bulma and Vegeta yelling at each other. In the past this would have disturbed him greatly, but on this trip, he can see past that. He can see that this is how they actually show affection for each other. He can't imagine anyone else yelling at his father like that and still lived.

He really did like it here but he felt guilty for leaving his world. Sure the androids were destroyed, but there were so much more to be done. What if there were other threats? How will they defend themselves? Other threats..... Realization dawned on him that he did not destroy Cell.

"NO! How can I be so stupid!" With an anguish cry, Trunks left the balcony and rushed downstairs. He had to go back. Cell was coming and he had to be there.

Author's Note:

Hmmmm..... What d' ya think? I want to say thank you again for your patience! I was side tracked by Fushigi Yuugi (I highly recommend it!) this past week and did not get much done! Gomen ne?

The next chapter will be the last one. I actually did not believe it would take this long. When I first started this story, I thought it was a 3 chapter deal but I'm glad you liked it! I really enjoyed writing it!
