Visiting the doctor: A few of the housemates are suffer from one affliction or another this morning. Mel's suffering from heartburn. Nichola is still suffering pain in her chest. Tom thinks he's suffering from malaria from all the mosquitoes. He's having sweaty spells.
Tom is called to see the doctor. He has to have a blood test in a while. They have to set up a mini lab. Craig is concerned about the cleanliness of the house. He said, 'You should be taken to a hospital'. Anna pipes up with, 'You can pick up a paper on the way'. Then someone said, 'They'd have to blindfold you and plug your ears'. Mel is prescribed Gaviscon for the heartburn. Then Nichola. It appears that she has muscular bruising and it will take 3 - 6 weeks to heal. This follows a wrestling match that she had with Craig. Nichola said to Craig, 'Well the doctor said I'm not to wrestle'. Craig then said, 'So, boxings ok then'. The pair share a giggle together.
Nichola said, 'The doctor was all hot and nervous'. Caroline said, 'They've probably seen you with spirals over your face, going mental after one glass of wine'. Nichola said, 'But I had shooting pains'. Caroline said, 'I really must stop putting pins in that doll'.
Anna is feeling a lot better today. Anna said to Caroline, 'Don't worry, not everything is going out. The doctor said in one episode, she whispered blah, blah, blah'. Someone's obviously talked to her about what had been shown on the TV. Anna then said, 'Winning and losing doesn't come into it. I dreamt that I was released for the weekend. I met with friends and they had all changed their attitude towards me'.
Nomination nerves: Craig said, 'I'm having a book written about me. Being in here will help sales'.
The housemates are having a jam session in the garden using various bins as drums. Darren has a good beat going.
Caroline declares, 'I'm not going into the toilet without reading material. Then she shouts, 'Big Brother can we have the air conditioning on please? I think they can hear me'.
Someone said, 'Nick's been in with Big Brother for ages'.
Caroline said, 'Anyone seen the lid off the teapot?'
A group discussion between Nick, Mel, Tom, Anna, Craig and Darren takes place in the garden. Nichola and Caroline are in the lounge.
Nick said, 'I'm terrified what people on the outside will think. How I come across to people'. Tom said to Nick, 'I've been around, seen around, as for a motive for being here, I'm not sure. You may have more of a motive than I have'. Nick said, 'I'm terrified that people will boo me when I come out'. Nick then said, 'I can't wait to walk outside. Everyone is two-faced'. Darren said, 'It's not two-faced. I have to choose two people'. Anna said, 'It's difficult not being able to discuss things'. Tom said, 'We knew when we came in here that we would be under observation'. Darren said, 'If you say something, they aren't going to say we aren't putting it out because you said it. It's your own fault, 'cos you're doing and saying the things. Are we being honest? I could say shit loads'.
Nick then tries to canvass opinions of him from other members of the group. Mel said, 'You're a bit eccentric in your mannerisms, endearing, charming, a ladies man'. Darren said, 'A lot of women would like you out there. People would say you are a father figure'. Mel, 'Why's that?' Darren said, 'He's the most mature. He would be a brilliant Dad'. Tom said, 'You have intelligence, a sexual quality, serious, childish'. Nick said, 'There are certain things that we have done that appears selfish'. Anna said, 'You've seen me in a good mood and low. I can only presume that you've said bad things about me and I think you're lovely'. To which Darren said, 'I don't'.
Craig said, 'I don't feel that I've been myself in here. 'Cos I'm always active and on the go'.
Craig about his bust up with Caroline. He said, 'I don't think I handled it very well. If Caroline was to walk out now, she'd think I was talking about her'. Mel begins to question Craig about his family.
Nichola announces that, 'Big Brother said we are not allowed flour for 3 days'.
Darren regarding nominations said, 'I'll do 10 minutes of meditation tomorrow. Hopefully, the girls will be in the nude. Nichola's going to read from one of her books', Caroline said, 'For fuck's sake'.
Caroline said to Craig.'What you picking at that spot for? Leave it'. Caroline declares, 'I want all the lads T-shirts off, to do a blackhead check. I'm fed up wiping Mel's off the mirror'.
Anna said, 'We are terrible at words for songs'. Caroline said, 'Except for Craig the human jukebox'. They then burst into 'Twist and Shout'.
Caroline said, 'I'm on washing-up duty tomorrow and it's Nomination Day. Believe you me, I will make your life hell. Who's on the list with me?' Nichola said, 'Me'. Caroline said, 'I warn you, don't force me to change my nominations'. They broke in to the song 'True Colours'.
Tom and Mel are in the garden doing a slug spot. Mel's been watering the garden. Craig wanders into the garden. Mel said to Craig, 'Can you get Nick to come out here and clear up his cigarette butts or whoever it was'.
Nicholas is looking a bit worried and joins Mel and Tom in the garden. Mel said, 'Are you alright Nicholas?'
Nichola, Craig, Caroline, Darren and Anna are talking about Friday's show, and Davina Macall. Caroline said, 'When she calls us up on Friday and says it's Davina. We should say who? Then say human beeeiiiinnnnggs'.
Anna said, 'Nick has gone to bed. He doesn't got to bed. Ever. I can't make it out'.
Nichola said to Caroline, 'I'm shitting myself. I think it will be me and you on the list tomorrow'. Caroline said, 'You can leave me out of this'.
Anna, Nichola and Caroline retire to the bedroom. Caroline said, 'I'm strangely confident about tomorrow. We aren't plotting and scheming but, I had three names that I was tossing and turning with all night'. Nichola said, 'It's been very difficult today'. Caroline said, 'The last two days have been brilliant. Everyone has got on and the tension has gone'. Anna said, 'How do you feel Caroline?' She replied, 'Sick'. Nichola said, 'They are voting to keep you in'. Nichola and Anna agree that the house wouldn't be the same without her. Caroline said, 'I wouldn't want to be up against either of you. It would crack me up'.
Anna said, 'Tomorrow there's gonna be a surprise. Not surprised if I'm not nominated'.
