The latest hot gossip that is going on in the Big Brother house.

Who's hot and who's not!  Who's in and who's out!  What tasks has BB set them!  Who's been talking about who!

Quiet afternoon:    It's 10:45am and Mel and Anna are having a drink in the garden.

Anna said, 'It's less than 2 weeks to go.  Maybe 6 days'.  Mel said, 'It's nothing.  What would it be like to be in the last 3 and not win?'  Anna said, 'I'm not that bothered.  With 3 people left, the runners up aren't going to have any worse a time than the winner.  The winner will go first of all, then the 2 others will be left behind.  20 minutes later they will have time to gather their thoughts and walk out.  Planning this and it could be nothing.  May say fuck 'em all and get pissed'.

The housemates are given their new task.  It's based around the circus.  They have to stay on the unicycle for 10 seconds.  Do a tightrope walk and do some juggling.  They have 3 lives and risked 20% of their budget.

At 11:40am, the storeroom opens.  They collect wigs, face paints, red noses and circus bits and bobs to do the task.  They have instructions to bring the equipment in at night to stop it getting wet.

Anna said to Mel, 'It says do not attempt to cross the wire wearing a bikini.  No, it didn't say that.  I'm just joking'.

At 12:15pm, Mel is doing her washing.

12:40pm, BB announced, 'This is Big Brother you must not practice the cycle by the mirrors or windows'.  Anna said, 'I would like to throw this bike over the wall'.

1:15pm, Craig is practicing the juggling.  Craig said to Anna, 'Well I've mastered that part of the task'.

At 1:30pm, they are still practicing the  task.  Mel is plucking her eyebrows.  Darren is in bed and Anna is trying out the cycle.

1:45pm, they begin to work out their shopping list.

Mel said to Craig, 'I was surprised you were so dispondent yesterday, a bit like Caroline'.  Craig said, 'Well, I wasn't going to break down like Caroline'.  They are talking about nominations and how they voted.  Mel seems to be feeling sorry for voting Caroline out.  Mel said, 'I regret voting for some of the people I voted for and I changed my vote some weeks'.  Craig said, 'So did I'.  Mel said, 'I like to keep people in who were fun for the whole group.  I regret voting out some of the people I voted out'.  Craig said, 'I understand what you are talking about'.

Craig and Mel are playing football in the garden.  Anna is playing the guitar.  They are talking about Oasis

At 2:55pm, they begin sunbathing.

Mel said, 'I'm going to wear my wig all the time, even in the shower, everywhere'.

Anna said, 'We can have 1.50 treat money.  That will leave us 14 for shopping.  We will work it out tonight'.

They start compiling limericks about all the different housemates, adding a line each.

At 3:40pm, Craig gets up.

At 3:55pm, Mel said, 'I'm going for a doze for an hour.  Wake me up in an hour.  We are going to have a big vegetable stew for tonight'.

4:00pm, Craig is practising his juggling.  Craig said, 'Imagine Nick on this tightrope.

Darren is talking about Claire's eviction last night to Craig.  He said, 'I looked down and couldn't see many people there.  I looked and no one was there.  Mel was saying which one's your Mum Craig'.  Craig said, 'Yeah.  When I see my Mum I just lock on to her and everything else is blocked around me'.

Mel said, I could hear Craig and Anna talking'.  Darren said, 'I can hear Craig out here'.  Craig said, 'I can hear the girls in their room.  It sounds like they are in the kitchen'.

They all start talking about what they get up to on Saturday mornings/afternoon.

Mel said, 'Oohhh.  Look at your bedroom [referring to the boys room]'.  Craig said, 'Yeah'.  Darren said, 'You hve to take your shoes off and wipe your feet before you go in now'.

They start talking about drink driving.  Darren reveals that he once drove home when he was drunk.  Mel said, 'I had an argument with a person at a party who wanted to drive home when drunk.  People were telling me to keep out of it but I wouldn't'.  Mel hates bad drivers and gets road rage.

Someone said, 'What the weirdest way you've met someone?'  Darren said, 'I was resigning from a job.  It was funny'.  Mel said, 'Did you see her again?'  Darren said, 'No.  She was s very mature lady'.  Mel said, 'I was snorkling in the Mediterranean Sea.  I was 16.  I met this lovely lad.  He had limited English.  He was French and I lost my virginity to him'.

They move on to talk about cyclists and cyclists rage.  Mel and Anna are going to cook the evening meal.

6:30pm, boring, boring household

For a good 3 hours it was terribly quiet in the house.  They were mostly reading and sleeping.

At 10:00pm, Anna and Craig are talking.

10:10pm, Anna is tidying up.

Darren said, 'Where's Craig?'  Anna said, 'I think he's gone to bed'.

Mel emerges from the Diary Room.  She said, 'We have a topic to discuss for no more than half an hour.  It's is marriage still important in todays' society'.

Mel said to Anna, 'Is marriage important?'  Anna said, 'Definitely'.  Mel said, 'I agree'.  Mel said to Anna, 'Your feet seem very heavy.  Probably because you've got Craig's shoes on'.  Anna said, 'Yes'.

Mel said, 'It's very cold in here'.

Anna said, 'Haven't we talked about this subject before?'  Mel said, 'Yes.  In the first week'.

They all settle down on the sofas.  Mel said, 'Who wants to start?'  Anna said to Mel, 'You could just talk for half an hour if you want to'.  Mel said, 'It's important for some people but not to me.  I don't need to do the marriage thing'.  Craig said, 'It's outdated'.  Anna said, 'What's the benefits?'  Craig said, 'Security'.  Mel then said, 'Yes, security or legal tax things'.  Craig said, 'Or they get married because the feel insecure'.  Mel said, 'But if someone wanted to marry me I would'.  Anna said, 'Marriage is right for some people.  I wouldn't get married, I don't need that option.  It's not recognised by the state but you can in America'.  Mel said, 'I think that's wrong.  They should recognise it'.  Anna said, 'Common law wives have more legal status than a a gay couple'.  Darren then said, 'I would like to get married'.  Craig said, 'Is that with me after I kissed you.  Marriage is my last option after the house and things.  I think it is out of date'.  Darren said, 'I disagree'.  Anna said to Darren, 'Do you go to church?'  Darren said, 'No'.  Anna said, 'Would you like a church wedding?'  Darren said, 'Yes'.  Anna said, 'Why should you use the church just for that day'.

I then got disconnected for a while.  Mel is talking about people who stay in a marriage when they aren't happy.  Darren went on to talk about arranged marriages.  He said, 'I have no reason to disagree with arranged marriages'.  Anna said, 'But if you don't like the person then you have a reason to disagree'.  Mel said, 'There are risks with arranged marriages'.  Craig said, 'They are harder to get out of'.  Mel said, 'It is good for the families and makes the families happy, and there are others that aren't.  Younger ones felt obliged not to say no.  Even if they didn;t like the person.  I know one woman who had the strength to get away, but a lot of people I know are miserable.  The older people I know, the husbands feel they own the wife'.  Darren said, 'The best wedding I went to was an arranged one'.  Anna is talking about the film East is East.  There is an arranged marriage early on in the movie.

Mel said, 'It would be good if Big Brother could set up a debate.  They can have 2 for and 2 against'.  Craig said, 'But you would have to be careful if any of it went on air, as you could be seen as having those beliefs'.  All of them seemed to like the idea of a debate.  Mel has gone to see BB about it'.
