Artist Poll is back !

A year ago we started a Poll for our Artists and we had quit an interest in our Poll. The company that hosted it however had shut down for several months.

But no worry our Moonkloud Artist Poll is back. Starting 11 -28-02 we reactivated the Poll and were starting it from scratch whitch means any one of our artists has a chance to win.

About the title: For 10 years I loved Snowboarding, but I always knew I could jump further and higher then I did. I just didn't want to get hurt. So I would always operate under a safety margin. But when I went out with friends I would try to raise the bar and that safety margin gets kloudy. I start pushing the limit. So when I started this project I instantly realized that margin of safety was going to get thin. It's not like 3 friends are out watching me. Now it's like 20,000 people are standing there yelling Jump ! So what am I suppose to do ? Be safe or do what I always knew I could do ? Well now that the filming is done. I sit back and watch myself for the first time push the limit. Was it worth it Hell Ya ? And thus the Title, Negative Influence ! How was it shot: Well it was basically 1 man, 1 Sno Board and 1 Camera ! That's right one camera. I know what your saying you can't do that? Well actually you can. It just takes all day. Instead of setting up 10 cameras and going down the hill and then editing down the sequence. I had to set up 1 camera and board down then move the camera and do it again. 10 shots in the sequence, then 10 trips down the hill. Not only that, I walked every foot of this film and that is what makes this film so interesting is the effort it took to shoot it and the beautiful surroundings of the Alaskan Outback.

Locked in the Vault for 2 years this EP has finally spontaneously combusted and ignited into this label's Hottest Release. Moonkloud.com has recently undergone another merger.

 In the past 3 years Moonkloud Ent. has been around, we have been the victims of 3 Internet Mergers.

It all started when I thought maybe I should store www.moonkloud.com at xoom.com. Then xoom.com was bought out by NBCI.com and now NBCI.com sold their web hosting to homestead.com

What is to become of moonkloud.com in the wake of this merger phenomenon? Were moving, to Yahoo's Geocities.com I've have had enough with this.

That's right, were not quitting yet, in the path of adversity Moonkloud & Satovan have survived a onslaught of public criticism for their seemingly normal way of being. Moonkloud Ent. has had everything it seems try to stop them but the publics support for Homer's First Independent Record Label has been outstanding...

Meet Jane Tyler

Moonkloud Publishing's First Author gets down to business working inside the label walls.

That's right, most people don't even seem to know we ARE a publisher. How they missed that was beyond our staff but. We have our FIRST Author and she's a Female.

Jane Tyler was approached by a school for the use of her material and she was told to get a publisher. So for a year she went online looking, the phone book, everywhere. But no luck. Then one day by chance she met somebody sitting on a rock in the middle of town and they got to talking as soon became friends. This person who well call, Sally introduced Jane to Moonkloud and they sat and talked and Moonkloud found this to be a most interesting case. SO he signed her up. Jane's first book series will be coming out this fall in the local Homer school district and in stores shortly after that.

Mailing List Officially becomes Fan Club

We have found our Mailing List Program to be most successful. But we have run into a few small problems. People tend to think of a Mailing List as a List they Join only to never get off. Furthermore people tend to think if they join a Mailing List that their personal information will be sold for profit. That's not the way we do business.
