To fulfill this mission, the Mooney Family presents an annual scholarship award to a student of special character, demonstrates academic excellence, citizenship, community service, service to his/her school community, has financial need, and who possesses a strong desire to achieve personal goals through quality education. These were many of the attributes that both Helen and John Mooney exemplified in their everyday lives.
