My Reasons for Wanting to Lose Weight
Although this may seem a little silly to some, I have decided, for my own motivational purposes, to create a list of reasons I want to lose weight.  Whenever I have any doubts about going on, I can just look here to help get myself kick-started again.
1.  So I can cross my legs when I sit down (I really miss that).
2.  So I can get from the parking lot to my desk at work without being out of breath.
3.  So my husband will look at me longingly.
4.  So my health will improve.
5.  So I can shop for clothing in a normal store.
6.  So I won't feel like everyone around me is looking at me as if I am a freak.
7.  So I won't dread looking into a mirror.
8.  To improve my self-image.
9.  So I can have energy.
10.  Three words:  Public Restroom Stalls!
11.   So I don't have to pay more money for my clothing than "regular" size clothing.
12.  It feels great to be able to tell someone, "Hey, I've lost ten pounds!"
13.  To have great sex!
14.  To not have to deal with an aching back, sore feet, and swollen ankles all the time.
15.  To never be embarrased about discussing clothing sizes.
16.  So my scale won't cry out in pain every time I weigh myself (lol).
17.  To wear normal waistbands on pants instead of searching for side-elastic.
18.  So I can do dishes at the sink without coming away with a wet belly.
19.  So I can go horseback riding.
20.  So I can go out and dance without being self-conscious.
21.  So I can wake up with some energy.
22.  So I won't keep spilling food all over my shirts.
23.  So I won't have to listen to another person tell me how they think "I should try" to lose the weight.
24.  To sit on the floor and get up gracefully.
25.  So I can wear a bathing suit again.
26.  So I can go shopping and actually like trying on clothes.
27.  So I could actually like to get my picture taken.
28.  To be able to not be afraid of running into someone I used to know and see their reaction to all their weight I've gained.
29.  So I can walk into an all you can eat buffet and not get dirty looks from all of the workers.
30.  So I can wear tight pants again without worrying about looking like a cow.
31.  So I wouldn't have to worry if my weight will affect my chances of getting a better job.
32.  To be able to look into a full-length mirror again.
33.  So I can cross my arms without having them rest on my stomach.
34.  So I can flirt successfully again.
35.  So I can wear one size fits all garments, and actually have them fit!
36.  So I can wear shorts again.
37.  So I don't have to avoid certain movie-theaters because of the size of their seats.
38.  So I can sit comfortably in a booth at restaurants.
39.  So I won't get any more health-related complications due to my weight.
40.  So I won't feel like my friends are embarassed to be with me.
41.  So I won't have such a strong fear of rejection.
42.  Because I'm worth the effort!
