| Daughters of The Moon- these are goddesses sent to earth by Selene goddess of the moon to destory all the Atrox's Followers and the Atrox himself, before he brings around the ruin of mankind. Thier powers are weakest during the dark of the moon. The lost soul's hour is the deepest part of night, two hours before it dawns. Thier powers are also weak then andWhen they are 17 they have a desicion to make, either they can become regular humans with no memory of what they were or they can simply disappear. If they choose to disappear no one knows what they become. The Atrox- the primal force of evil swore to destroy the Daughters of The Moon. The Atrox steals peoples hope, sucking it from thier soul and maknig them his Followers. The Atrox rewards thier evil doings. Immortality is one of them. Followers- these are humans sucked of all hope sent to help destroy the daughters. They have powers to trap you in thier memories and suck all your hope from you and turn you into one of them. They can also read your mind and steal your memories. They have the power to steal the daughters powers and once one of the daughters is stripped from her powers all the daughters are weakened. They look like anyone and hate the moon b/c itis a symbol of Selene and represents goodness. Under the full moon, thier eyes turn phosphorescent, and even ordinary people can sense thier evil. They also hate timepieces, not digital ones, but watches with hands and sundials. Anything that reminds them of thier eternal bond to evil. All the followers fight to be in the highest position than the others. They can never harm a person who does a genuine act of kindness toward them. Evil acts towards them just feeds them so using good is the only way to defeat them. Maggie- She is the woman who brings together the Goddesses and teaches them about thier destinies as Duaghters Of The Moon. She went to the girls in thier dreams to lure them to her so she could teach them how to use thier powers before the followers or Atrox got to them. Collin- Serena's surfer Brother. Jimena's B/f. He has long sun-bleahed hair and blue eyes. Surfer! Micheal Saratoga- Vanessa's boyfriend. He has dark eyes, and a barbed-wire tattoo circles his arms. He's in a band that plays often at Planet Bang. Cassandra- she is a Follower who runs with Stanton. In Night Shade she has been favored my the most powerful Atrox Followers called the Cincti which means Encircled. Cincti is what Followers call members of the Inner Circle the closet to the Artox. Cassandra is mortal and the Inner Circle usually doesn't let mortals visit the Inner Circle. She was allowed to visit the Inner Circle b/c she has come up with a fail-safe plan to destory the daughters. The Cincti has allowed Cassandra to go back into the past to change one event so she can put her plan in motion. With her plan in motin she has been able to steal Jimena's power but even without her power Jimena is still a Daughter Of The Moon. Karyl- A Follower who runs with Staton Thymine- A Follower who runs with Staton Zahi- He is the new guy at school and a new Follower. He almost got Serena to walk into the cold fire and become a Follower. Tartarus- is a dark abyss far below the surface of the earth. It's surrounded by a think layer of night. It's a place of damnation where it's residents suffer endless torments. Some say thats where the Atrox resides and thats where the Inner Circle meets. When the Tartarus opens then it is allowing someone of high importance to visit or escape. Then daughters have been hearing loud thunder noises thinknig it is eathquakes but it really was land thunder or the opening of the Tartarus. The same time the thunder started to happen thats when the sudden appearance of Veto happened. Veto- he was Jimena's one true love when she was in a gang. He had died and somehow in Night Shade he has come back. He clamed he had found a way to trick evil. He had escaped from the Tartarus. Really Veto was a Shade. The ancient Greeks believed that after death, the spirit keeps the same appearance it had during life so that when relatives and friends who died after will be able to recognize it. A shade is not a ghost but an airy ghostlike image of the person. Jimena had kissed him meaning he wasn't a ghost and he felt real. So Veto was animated by the Atrox to be used for an evil purpose, meaning he can feel real as any human. Morgan- she was kinda a friend to Vanessa until she was truned into a follower and was a part of Cassandra's big plan. Malcom- a regulator who warned Stanton about the Transition. He died and Stanton covered up his remains. Hekate- Goddess Of The Dark Moon, She came to Stanton when the daughters tried to free him. They should hve killed him but she cleansed him and sent him back. Serena wears he charm necklace b/c that's part of who Serena is. Persphone- Goddess of Spring Diana- Goddess of Hunt and of all newborn creatures. Also Goddess of the Moon. Orion- Diana's love Apollo- Diana's twin brother. He tricked Diana to kill her own love. Wally- Serena's pet raccoon. |
