I know it's been a while since I've updated my site. Okay so it's been MORE than "a while", but c'mon, I'm a busy woman. At least I'm doing it now, right?I'd like to start off by mentioning the new ribbon I've added at the bottom of the page. It stands for Cancer Awareness. I'm sure almost everyone has been touched by Cancer in some form or another.
Personally, I've lost a first cousin, an aunt, and a dear friend to Cancer, and if you ask me, that's three too many. I have a cousin who has had Cancer, gone through the chemo and losing her hair and I'm happy to inform you that she's been in remission for 15 years. Another first cousin of mine has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and I myself have had a couple of scares, which have been dealt with, thank God.
My point here is not to bring you down with sad stories, but to remind all to please support any efforts that you can for Cancer research. It's a scary and powerful disease and no one should ever have to go through that kind of pain and suffering.
Click on the pink ribbon to fund free mammograms. It's simple and easy. Click every day to help give the gift of hope to women in need. It's free!
