Band Camp
Band Camp will be held at MHS on August 11th thru the 22nd, 7:30-5:00. DO NOT be late, or Mr. Philips will make you do pushups...LOTS! Fall Preview is on the 23rd at approximately 5:00 PM. Wear white band shirt/t shirt and tennis shoes. Sectionals continue the 26th at 1:00 -5:00 PM, and on the 27th at 7:30 -5:00. Drumline has practice on the 26th at 7:00-9:00 PM, and on the 27th at the above time. Picture day is Thursday, August 28th at 4:00 PM.
Uniforms
Uniform fitting is happening now. You MUST come to these fitting dates. Seniors and Junior on August 18th, Sophomores on August 19th, and Freshmen on August 20th after band practice. You will be fitted for your uniform, your hat, and your shoes. You must bring the money to alter the uniforms, if needed.
New Addition to the Monsoon Webmaster Team!
As of Monday, August 26th, Rodolfo Cortes is an official member of the MWT (Monsoon Webmaster Team). He is taking the position of designer, and is currently working on a new layout. Along with Andrew Munoz, they will be doing layouts for the pages that they wish to change. The general webmaster, Matt Ellis, is in charge of the content and the complicated pages. You can reach the MWT through the email at the top of the page, or contact them through their individual emails. I will keep post of updates and new additions!
Pictures
We really need pictures for this website. I will be taking pictures from the 2002-2003 year, or of this years band camp. I will scan them and give them back to you. If you DO have pictures, feel free to share them with the band. Just put the pictures in a envelope with YOUR name on it and slip the envelope in locker 216, Matt Ellis' locker. He is the general webmaster, and will check and collect them everyday. If this is too complicated for you, just leave them on the whiteboard with an envelope with your name on them. It would be more convenient to put them in locker 216 though.
Updates
There are new buttons on the top. Three of them are broken....Trips, EAS, and other. New layout coming, more pages being worked on currently....Look for Complete schedule of this year soon! Also look for leader bios with pics as soon as i get them...drumline page will have a complete makeover. And one more surprise..this years field show will soon be playing in the background on this web site! |
