Left:  Mr. C is LOVING the popscicle at Como Zoo!

Below:  Ms M paints...we do arts and crafts on a daily basis.  To keep it interesting, we try different mediums, painting, coloring with crayons or markers, playdough, gluing, stencils, scrapbooking, etc.  I've taught art to elementary students while in high school.  I often try to integrate education with the art.  And always try to make it fun.  We just painted with our feet last week!

The imagination is fabulous!  Here, the girls used handmade menus to play restaurant, even getting my youngest in on it!

Even Marvy gets brought in on the fun...and he certainly doesn't mind!!
I never built lego houses like that when I was a kid!!  We like to build with Lincoln Logs & Legos & cardboard blocks & mega blocks, to name a few...
What you will find in my playroom:
Variety!!  We change it up all the time.  I rotate toys on a biweekly to monthly basis.  I vacuum & disinfect daily with Clorox Anywhere spray, then give the playroom a thorough clean up at the end of the week.  So, you won't find dirty toys!

I keep my camera close at hand and charged, ready to take pictures to share our days with our parents!  I often email parents the pics of their kids' days.

Above and Right:  we like to get messy (fair warning!!  messy is common!) and paint with our feet!

Arts and crafts are an important part of the day.  We like to use child created art to decorate our play area and entry way.  The kids have a lot of freedom to create daily, sometimes it is provider directed, other times, I let them choose the direction to take with their projects.
I take a lot of pictures of the kids to share their day with their parents.  It works as a bridge between daycare and home, the kids can tell about what they were doing and the parents get the memories to keep.  I email these pics out often!
