Challenge Me !

As of April 2005, I am searching for a permanent full time position with a stable corporation, as an IT professional. (ie: Unix/Linux System Administrator, Web Server Administrator, Web Developer, Web Programmer, Web Designer, Flash Animator, and similar roles.

Programming Languages I have extensive professional experience with include: ActionScript, Perl, CGI/Perl, Php, MySQL, AIML, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, VBScript, JSP. Programming Languages that I have extensive personal experience with include: VXML, CXML, and a wide variety of web and object oriented programming languages. I am also able to provide you with the following skills: Business Administration, Technical writer, Technical Trainer, and Project Leader.

In the meantime, I also enjoy working on Temporary Projects that will use my skills, education, and experience. I am happy working on temporary short-term projects either as a team leader, team member, or solo.

My Dream Job:

Location: I prefer to work in warm climates that get plenty of sunshine and pleasant weather conditions for outside activities. My location preferences include: The Caribbean, Florida, California, Arizona, New Mexico, New York state, NY City, South-eastern Canada and North-Eastern USA. Of course I will travel most anywhere for short-term temporary projects too. I love to travel. My family and friend ties are in The Caribbean, North Eastern USA, South Eastern Canada, The Carolinas, Florida, all over NY state and NY city, California. I am able and qualified to live, work, and travel freely in the Mohawk Territories, USA, and Canada.

Security Clearance: I am qualified to obtain any level Security Clearance as needed.

Confidentiality & Non-Compete : I am accustomed to working within the limitations of professional Confidentiality and Non-Compete agreements, that are mutually beneficial.

Work: I truly enjoy programming, web design, and developing innovative technology solutions for real-world issues. I love every aspect of this work and dream in code, since I was a tiny little girl. I do welcome intellectual challenges and learning new technologies and skills. I also love to create storyboards, to design and give technical demonstrations, to work with teams on projects, to write, to teach, to publish new books, to create flash animations, create multi-media presentations, to design and give public speeches, obtain positive publicity, to motivate and raise other people up, give others credit and applause for jobs well done, introduce friends to new friends, and did I mention that I love to develop, program, and design web applications and websites?

• Technologies: My dream job would allow me to develop Web Applications in regards to Voice Recognition Solutions, Mobile Device Solutions, Wearable Computer Solutions, and Robotics using any of the latest most innovative technologies. I am most interested and excited about AIML, Artificial Intelligence, Voice Recognition, Hand Recognition, Robotics, Animatronics, and Animation.
• Industries of Interest : Innovative Technologies, Multi-Media, Entertainment, Education, Medical, Robotics, Telecommunications, Space Exploration, Oceanography, Alternative Fuels, Geology, Science, R&D corporations.
• Leading: I love to lead and am not afraid to take responsiblity for my own actions and choices. I also enjoy raising others up and giving them credit for jobs well done. I enjoy helping others to learn new skills and gain positive work related experiences. Of course I enjoy reaping the benefits of my hard work too.
• Following: I also work well in team environments. Sometimes it is 'secretly' difficult for me to follow, but I am highly empathetic of others and it is a Most Important Priority for me to produce good work and solutions that everyone can be proud of.
• Solo: I work very well solo, but should give credit to all of my peers and supporters that continue to help me along the way. I have many programmer and designer friends and we always test each other's codes or bounce ideas off each other or even give answers to challenging coding questions if needed, confidentially.

Office Environment: In my dream job, I would have my own corner office space with large windows on at least one wall - ideally two walls. I would be able to lock up my books and tools and would feel safe and confidant to have my own work tools and resources at my office space. I would also be able to keep some beautiful art and my latest robots in my office space so the environment was relaxing, neat, and welcoming. I would be able to listen to music while coding. My desk and chair would be ergonomically friendly. My desk would be round and either permanently high or at least have a button so I could raise it up. My chair would also raise up high. This is the most comfortable position for me to code, and it allows me to stand comfortably while coding which I prefer. It is very uncomfortable and unhealthy for the back, to sit down all day. Me and my co-workers would all wear smart professional business suits during the week. If and when we had to do any over-time, we would dress casual if we preferred.

We would use something like visual sourcesafe to keep track of who is doing what. Each team member would get credit for their part and would 'own' responsibility for the part they contribute to a project. Co-workers would all enjoy their jobs and would not be jealous or malicious towards each other. Co-workers would feel secure with their own roles, always be professional and respectful with each other, and sincerely happy for each other's accomplishments.

Future Goals: I hope to use my passion for web programming and innovative technologies to bring me to the next level in my career, which will be something along the lines of Chief Technology Officer for a large stable corporation. I would enjoy leading senior programmers and mid to junior level programmers to the next level in their own careers in a way that is mutually beneficial for all parties involved.

I want to be a Chief Technology Officer and I am obtaining all the education I can, to help me meet my career goals. I am an idea-generating person and that is why I beleive I would be an excellant C.T.O. for any corporation. My down-to-earth friendly personality, experience, skills, education, peers, and highest standards of integrity and work ethics is the perfect recipe for a 'secret-weapon' C.T.O. that will bring any company tremendous success.

I would be responsible for challenging innovative technology projects. I would bring together or build teams of programmers, designers, system administrators, project managers, marketing execs, and other business executives. I would give technical demonstrations to executives and lead programmers to build amazing technology solutions. I would wear smart power suits to work during the week day. On weekends, if I worked overtime, I could dress casual if I wanted to.
