| THE NEXT NIGHT That night all the guys went to a club, except Nick, because he was under age, plus it wasn�t his thing. So he asked if any of the girls wanted to come over, but only Amber said that she would, because she was bored and the other girls felt like staying home that night. Amber and Nick� Amber: So what do you want to do? Nick: How about we watch the Haunting? Amber: Sure, I haven�t seen that one yet. After Nick put the movie in, Amber and Nick sat down on the couch. When Nick went to get the remote to turn on the movie, the remote fell onto the floor. Amber and Nick both went to pick the remote up, but they bumped heads instead. They both looked deep into each other�s eyes as their heads came closer together, until their lips met. After they stopped, they started talking. Nick: What just happened? Amber: I do not know! Nick: I knew I had a crush on you, but I didn�t think you would feel the same way about me! ... Do you? Amber: (she aid quietly) Yeah! They were then faced with a long moment of silence while Nick thought about something. Nick: Umm� Amber? Umm� would you be my girlfriend? Amber: I would love to, but are you sure about dating a witch? Nick: Absolutely! I think you having powers are cool! Amber: Great! Hey we never asked you guys if you had girlfriends. Nick: Oh, well, we�re all single, except me now. Amber: How about we set the others up? Nick: Ok, but who with whom? Amber: How about Brandy with Kevin, they both are the oldest and sort of serious. Nick: Great, one pair down and two more to go! Amber: Um� Mandy with Brian, they�re both goofy. Nick: Ok, why doesn�t Amanda go with AJ, I mean they seem to go great together. Amber: Uh uh, Amanda�s not the crazy, wild type they will just stay friends, besides they would�ve gotten together by now when they kissed each other at the beach. Why not Howie? Nick: Sure.
